Music blared and lights flashed all over the dark room of the club, nearly giving Rosé a headache. Tonight was the night of Jennie's birthday party, and the girls all went out. You being invited too of course.
There were around a hundred and fifty people in the club, all crowded together as they danced crazily and drank to their heart's desire. Although Rosé loved her friends very dearly, this wasn't exactly her scene.

She was just about to leave when she spotted you, past all the dancing, sweaty bodies, sitting in a booth alone. Not a single trace of your boyfriend in sight.

You were sitting looking just as bored as she was, with your head in your palm as your other hand fumbled with your phone.

Rosé's jaw nearly dropped but she composed herself quickly, fixing her hair and straightening her dress before maneuvering through the groups of drunk strangers to get to you.

You were always with your boyfriend. Whether he was that clingy or you liked taking him everywhere with you, she didn't know. All she knew was that this was a once in a lifetime situation, seeing you alone.

It made her wonder, where was your boyfriend anyway? And what were the chances that you guys would be at the same event, and he wasn't here to steal all of your attention?

She finally made it to your table, smiling softly at you as you looked up at her with those beautiful eyes of yours. When you looked at her it made her feel like she held the world in her hands, it was thrilling.

"Hi!" you greeted her over the loud music. She gestured to the booth and you welcomed her in, your hands motioning for her to scoot in closer. When she made herself comfortable next to you, you pulled her into a bone crushing hug. "It feels like I haven't seen you in forever!"

Rosé smiled and agreed, wrapping her arms around your waist.

She inhaled the sweet smell of your perfume, holding back from letting out a breathy sigh. "What're you doing here alone? Where's..."

"My boyfriend?" you finished for her, pushing a stray hair behind Rosé's ear as she nodded sheepishly. You'd always been touchy with her in that way, it always gave her butterflies. "He ditched me, saying he didn't like these people and would rather get drunk with his friends than with me. Asshole."

Rosé frowned and copied your body language, resting her head in her palm as she stared intently at you. It always confused her why you were still with him, especially when you would complain about him whenever he wasn't around and talk about how badly he treated you.

You would always complain about the things he would do that would hurt your feelings, or things he wouldn't do—simple common courtesies that Rosé felt were things that all boyfriends should do without question. Like, for example, joining you to celebrate with all of your friends.

She really wishes you would leave him already.

More than anything, she wishes you would let her show you what it truly means to be loved. How much better she would treat you than your boyfriend did.

"I don't want to overstep," Rosé began hesitantly, a short nod from you allowed her to feel comfortable with continuing, "but why haven't you left him yet? He clearly doesn't make you happy, but it's like you're holding onto him for no reason."

You sighed and stared down at your phone, free from any notifications or texts from your boyfriend. Rosé follows your eyes and grimaces. "It's not for no reason," you corrected her, your voice sounding pathetic coming out of your mouth as you said it, "I guess I just have hope he'll change."

"Oh." Was all that Rosé could say, staring down at your fidgeting hand. You avoided eye contact with her and instead looked down at your phone, seeing if a text from your boyfriend would come in.

Confidently, Rosé reached out and grabbed your fidgeting hand. You quickly stared down at it, your intertwined hands, and Rosé suddenly became extremely aware of what she'd done.

Afraid she'd seriously fucked up, Rosé was about to pull away, but then you turned your palm to face up and laced your fingers in between hers.

Then you looked up at her with a sickeningly sweet smile, and just that gesture and tempting look almost had her passing out. She beamed at you with a precious grin that matched yours and lifted your joined hands, bringing them up to her lips. Keeping her eyes locked on yours, she slowly pressed her lips on the back of your hand, sending chills up your arm as she kissed your knuckles.

"But you know," you said shakily, exhaling sharply as she pulled away from your hand and tilted her head at you, "maybe he won't."

Rosé smirked, pushing a hair behind your ear just as you'd done for her moments ago. She kept her hand cupped on your cheek as she nodded along with your words, "Yeah, he probably won't."

You shook your head, agreeing with her, and that's when she leaned in to kiss you. It was everything Rosé had been hoping kissing you would feel like and even better.

Your body felt like it was on fire, the music and the yelling of strangers and friends around you drowned out. All you could focus on was her.

Before you could deepen the kiss, Rosé pulled away, chuckling lightly when she heard you whine softly. She wouldn't have heard it if she hadn't been so close to you, but she had and it was like music to her ears.

"Do you wanna head somewhere more quiet?" she leaned in to whisper in your ear. "My hotel's like ten minutes from here."

You nodded rapidly at her suggestion, making yourself laugh sheepishly at your eagerness. With your hands still joined together, Rosé pulled you out of the booth and led you through the groups of people.

Just as you made it to the door, Rosé pulled you in for a short kiss to the lips, making you feel dizzy and lovestruck.

On the drive to her Hotel you made sure to text your boyfriend, now ex boyfriend that you need a break.

When you arrived at the hotel Rosé outstretched her hand and pushed open the door giving you a wink.

"Ladies first."
