Chapter 11

Today is finally the day of felicity and Tia's sweet 16. Last week I went shopping for the outfit I was going to wear at the sweet 16.

The invite said that the sweet 16 was starting at 6:00 P.M and it is 8:00 A.M so have bunch of time to get ready I have to go to the hair and nail salon with my mom. My mom has a conference meeting in Utah she is leaving tonight for two weeks so she's getting her hair and nails done to.

Since felicity last party I haven't thought about Camila or Jake to be honest I didn't really care about what they were doing it is hard to ignore them though cause Camila can't stop posting pictures of her Facebook page and the only reason I know this because I am a Facebook stalker.

"Rebecca" my mom shouted from upstairs

"Yes" I yelled back. I got up from the couch and headed up the stairs to her room to see her packing

"Hey sweetie, did you meet our new neighbors?" she asked

"Neighbors?" I asked I had no Idea we had new neighbor I didn't even no the house next door was on sale.

I looked out the window and a moving truck next door.

"Yeah the trucks been there since yesterday night " she said "Before we go to the hair and nail salon were going to stop by and bring them the pie in the fridge."

"That makes more sense that why bought the pie yesterday." I said while smiling

Usually people would bake a pie to bring to there neighbors but with my mom working so much she barely even cooks anymore.

"Yeah, I am leaving a 100 dollars for you and Frankie" she said "Is that going to be enough

"I guess" I said

"Actually I'll leave 200 dollars that should be enough" she said

"Uhh yeah" I said

"When does you flight leave?" I asked

"7:30 but I need to be at the airport by 6:00 you know I hate being late" she said while closing her suit case

I kind of miss my mom she's always at work or always traveling my dad is in L.A so I really don't have my parents around me. Which most teenagers would be happy about but sometimes I feel like I need to talk to my mom like women to women.

"Okay the hair is going to take time so lets leave now" she said while walking out of the room I followed her I was wearing yoga pants and a blue sweater I grabbed my blue Nike sneakers and put them on, my mom grabbed the pie out if the fridge she removed it from the plastic container into a container that looks presentable and that doesn't look like she just bought from the grocery store. Frankie didn't want to come so we left without him. We headed toward the white gate and up the stairs. My mom ringed the bell and a lady with brown hair and brown eyes opened the door

"Hi you must be the neighbors I am Danielle"

"Hi I am alejandra Gomez and this my daughter Rebecca" My mom said while holding up the pie

"Oh please come in" Danielle said while leading the way to the leaving room

"Would you like some water or tea" Danielle asked

"No thank you"my and I said at the same time

We walked in and saw some boxes still being unpacked. we sat on the couch and I heard some footsteps from the leaving room

"Oh here is my son Jake" Danielle said

"Hey neighbors" Jake stood there with a smirk on his face
