Chapter 18

"Why are you avoiding me?" He asked he seemed genuinely upset

"I need to go to class Austin"

"You can go as long as you answer my question"

"AUSTIN" I yelled

"Look I can stay here all day if I have to just tell me why you're mad?"

"Please just go" At this point, I'm just hoping that he leaves because I'm about to break down into tears.

"No, tell me why you're mad?"

"WHY I'M MAD?" I said while yelling " YOU KISSED ANOTHER GIRL AT A CLUB LAST NIGHT AND YOU'RE ASKING WHY I'M MAD"

"How did you know?" He asked

"IT'S ON THE INTERNET" I screamed

"You got it all wrong I..." I interrupted him

"I got it wrong really tell me then why was her mouth connected to hers"

"It was a dare"

"OMG, that's such a stupid excuse we are not in middle school anymore Austin. If someone had dared me to kiss Jake, Rob or Alex I WOULDN'T HAVE" I screamed

"There more to it you have to understand the guys thought I was becoming weak I couldn't let them think that"

"Okay so this was all about your reputation , Austin I really thought were passed that"

"We are... that's not what I meant" He said

"What did you mean?" I asked

"I don't know," he said

"You know what I don't blame you it was my fault I fell for you and shouldn't have. Just leave me alone Austin Mahone you've done enough damage in my life"

I said while wiping my tears and pushing him out the way. I walked out the bathroom to find half the school even teachers listening behind the door. I looked at my phone to see 10 messages from Felicity and Tia saying that people were listening.

I wiped my tears and pushed through the crowd and headed out of the school.

~Austin P.O.V~

I messed up so badly.

I wasn't thinking about the consequences I'd have to face after kissing jenny. What was I thinking?.

I didn't even know that there was a picture .

I really like Becky and I don't feel that way about just anybody

The day went by and I hadn't seen Becky. Felicity and Tia were really mad at me tho. I know because they verbally and physically expressed their anger.

Decided to skip last period because I just couldn't stand being in that building anymore. I messed up and regret it. And the worst part is that my excuses were so invalid I mean it was totally my fault. Rebecca is right we are not in middle school anymore.This was my first serious relationship besides Camila but the relationship was just for fun really. I don't even think she actually liked me. It was all for fun and reputation.

I went home and saw my mom in the kitchen cooking

"Hey mom," I said while walking into the kitchen

"Austin? Why are you home so early" she asked while holding a knife

"First put the knife down," I said while slowly approaching her

"You still didn't answer my question," She said "and the truth"

"I skip last period," I said I honestly didn't care anymore I was way too upset to even think the consequences I was going face.

"Why Austin?" she said sounding really serious " we already talked about this college is two years away you might ruin your future if you keep this up"

"Yeah I've been ruining a lot of things lately"

"What's wrong?" My mom asked

"I messed up mom"

"How?"

"During the basketball trip we all out of the hotel and went to this club. The guys thought I was becoming weak and that I changed since I started dating Becky. They dared me to kiss Another girl and..."I was going to finish but my mom interrupted me

"You didn't," My mom said looking really disappointed

"I did and Becky found out because someone posted it on social media" I answered "She was really mad at me mom"

"Fix it," My mom said like it was the easiest thing to do

"I don't think this is fixable" I answered

"Yes it is Austin," She said, "Do you love her?"

"Huh?"

"You heard me do you love her?"

"Umm I don't know"

"Figure that out first and when you do figure it out you'll know what to do"

"Thanks, mom," I said while taking my backpack and walking out of the kitchen when she called my name

"Austin"

"Yeah"

"You're grounded for 2 weeks come straight home after school" Damn it I was so close

"Fine," I said . I didn't bother to argue because I really didn't want to hang out with my friends after school anyways. The only person I wanted to see was Rebbecca.
