Chapter 2 The Squad

      

I woke up in a bad mood because I was so scared about what happened yesterday. I could have gotten Austin expelled.

I went downstairs for Breakfast and saw a note on the fridge

Sorry I didn't have time to see you this morning. I hope you remember were the school is and if you forget Use the GPS on your phone. Have a good day

I grabbed a bagel and some orange juice out of the fridge. I went back upstairs took a shower Applied Make up on and got dressed. I left the house and walked to school.

In School

I walked inside the school and saw Austin and 3 boys standing by the lockers with the 5 cheerleaders I saw yesterday. I walked really fast by them and went to my locker where I saw Felicity and Tia Talking

"Hey" I said

"Hey Becky" Felicity said

"Hey" Tia said

"So I'm curious who they are" I asked

"Mahone and his friends?" Tia said

"Yeah and the five cheerleaders" I said

"It Austin, Robert, Zach and Alex' Tia said

"Also known as the bad boy's squad" Felicity said

"And the five cheerleaders are Camila, Lauren, Ally, Dinah, and Normani" Felicity said

"Is Austin dating one of the cheerleaders?" I asked

Oh God I'm so nosey

"Yeah Camila" Tia answered

"Why all these questions are you having some feelings for Austin" felicity asked

"No I don't like him he is so rude and mean" I said

"If you say so" Felicity said.

"Come on we're going to be late" Tia said

"For what we have a couple more minutes before class" I said while walking with them

"For the annual basketball game" Felicity said

"Annual, what now" I said with a confused look on my face

"Basketball, you know where they have a ball and".... Tia said but I cut her of

"I know what basketball is" I said

"But who are they competing against?" I asked

"A school from California" Tia said

"Oh really, what school?" I asked

"I'm not really sure" Tia said

"I got it" felicity said while looking at her phone "here" she handed it to me

"Omg" I said

"What? Why are you so excited?" Felicity asked

"The team at my old school is playing" I said while jumping up and down

"Oh cool" Tia said

We walked inside the gymnasium and took a seat. All the cheerleaders were already prepared and waiting for the game to start. The game finally started and the cheerleaders started their routine which was actually kind of cool the first team walked inside and it was the team from California

"Felicity do I look okay?" I asked

"Yeah, why are you worried?"

"Because my crush is here" I said

"Austin?" She asked

"Noooo" I said

"Jake from my old school captain of the basketball team" I said

"Where is he?" She asked while looking around

"The guy in the number 15" I said

"Wow he is cute" Felicity said

"I know" I said

"That's funny Austin is number 15 too"

I rolled my eyes at Felicity

"What? Don't give me that look it's not like I'm lying" Felicity said

After the game

Wow that game was intense Tia said "That's the first time our school lost a basketball game"

"Coach must be furious" Felicity said

Coach P.O.V

I want 200 laps, 300 sit-ups

90 push up NOW

I am so upset

Becky P.O.V

Beca Beca, I heard someone calling the only person to ever call me that was Jake. I turned around and saw him running to me I stopped walking waited for him when he reached me we hugged for about 5 minutes. Felicity and Tia were making kissy faces behind him so it was hard not to laugh.

"Becky can I talk to you in private?" Jake asked we walked inside the janitor's closet

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked

"I really miss you and Lola and Kylie miss you too" he said

Lola and Kylie are my best friends From California

"Aww I miss you guys too" I said

"And something else I've meaning to tell you" he said while looking down

"What is it?" I asked

"I.....Umm sort of have a crush on you" he said

"Oh really, that's cute" I said

Inside I was excited that the guy I had a crush on since 3rd grade actually likes me.

He chuckled and asked me another question "will go out with me?"

"Jake I wish I could but you live in California and I live in Florida" I felt so sad saying these words

"I can come visit you every summer and we can video chat and text" he said

"Long distance relationships don't usually work" I said

"I know but I really like you and we won't know unless we try. I really think we can make this work." He said

"Fine" I said

We hugged and kissed for the first time. We got out the janitors closet and saw Felicity and Tia trying to eavesdrop. Jake and I laughed and told them everything.
