this time, it's not Saturday or Sunday. it's Monday. what a day, am i right? and also when atsushi and akutagawa go to school.
dazai and chuuya go to school as well, they are third-years. they were getting ready for it, though, so they were a bit late.
(also, the original in the beginning had chuuya and dazai like mom and dad; " don't get into anymore fights akutagawa, i don't want to hear anymore from your teacher! " and i thought it was too cringey for me to stand so i changed it- you're welcome)
narrator: ON
lmao anyways
MONDAY
________________________________________________________________________________
akutagawa and atsushi walked away to school together. as they walked to school, they talked about casual, normal stuff, like school work or what they should do when it's Friday, things like that.
" also, jinko, who was that headmaster-of-an-orphanage-looking guy? "
akutagawa asked the question out of nowhere.
" oh ... sorry, i don't want to talk about that right now ... it might ruin the moment, too, " atsushi said, clear discomfort about the subject in his voice.
" alright. i'm not gonna force you to tell me. i apologize if that made you uncomfortable, " akutagawa apologized, eyes closed.
" oh, no it's okay! i'll tell you soon enough too, " atsushi flailed his hands around, " and i wanted to ask about yesterday. " his index finger scratched his check.
" what about yesterday? " akutagawa questioned, eyes now open, turned to atsushi.
" how ... did you find me? how did you know i was in an asylum? " atsushi asked curiously.
" oh, that ... before you drove off to that asylum, i heard a car drive off. the door was open, so it was loud. i * long explanation * "akutagawa blabbered, glancing at the cars driving, " uh, did you get that? " he looked towards atsushi's direction.
after hearing no reply, akutagawa turned to atsushi once again.
atsushi stared with wide eyes. he was surprised by akutagawa's answer, and the reasoning he had.
" what is it? " akutagawa asked, wondering if there was something on his face.
" It's nothing, just ... wow. i'm surprised you were able to come to that. " atsushi responds sadly. " i would've never figured it out, haha, " he said, fake laughing.
" ... " akutagawa stared in silence.
the boy stared worriedly, " akutagawa? did i say something wro-"
the boy was interrupted by the lips of the other.
" ...?! "
( i did NOT know how to interpret this part, so it was a short kiss )
" don't say it like that, jinko. i love you, and i hate to hear those words come out your mouth, " akutagawa told as he backed away from atsushi in a warm, calming voice.
