HONESTLY it wasn't even worth it anymore. She had very much so, destroyed your only chance of escape and left your friends corpse there to rot, what an actual monster.
But no, you had no time to waste. Whyever would you let her win? Backing down would be giving her what she wants, and what does she want? Well, she certainly doesn't want you to have control over your own actions and thoughts.
Honestly it felt like a very desperate attempt to try get a reaction out of you, and once she succeeded with it she just strided away. Off into the endless maze, the very maze that was easily torturing you.
And now, with a remarkably big scar across your leg, some pretty severe bleeding, and an almost broken ankle you had to leave.
Obviously she went for your legs, she knew it'd slow you down and even, have you give up, you really had to hurry with the escaping attempts.
It felt more like, like she knew you wouldn't be able leave. And like she did all that, just to be able to have you begging for mercy, begging for your life.
But, if that's what she wants you would play her game. Play it, and win.
Pretend to be already broken into manipulation, your very last bits of sanity eaten away and only being able to comprehend her orders,
Then.. well then you hit her with her weakness. Get everyone against her while your at it,
Bonus points if you can somewhat affect her by crumbling her whole dream of having everyone obey her with no questions, and hopefully take her down,
Once and for all.
You would get revenge for your dead friend, and for everyone else. Whether she liked it or not, it's not like anyone even liked her anyways.
Everyone just feared her and blindly obeyed her orders to not be hurt.
But now, now she'd better prepare herself, prepare herself for the impact or fall with it, the choice was hers.

Short one because I kinda left you all hanging with that oneshot, but now the rest is up to you to imagine.
This was kinda rushed, so there may be mistakes.
Also I started puting dates to my work Incase you noticed, yeah I just put dates on all of them right now but atleast I know how many chapters I've published during the summer and the time it took for each to be published,
