Now that our birthdays are over, Reefy is back on the road for basketball and I already miss him 😩
"Ms. Brooke you have a conference call at noon, as well as a consultation for the Atlanta location rooms" my assistant said
"Okay, thank you" I said before walking into my office
"You also have a visitor coming in a few minutes. She stated she really needed to meet with you. Here are some forms that were faxed in this morning as well" she said before placing them on my desk
"And who is this visitor" I was asking before she walked in

"Leah, hey how are you" I said before getting up to hug her
"Hello Brooke, how are you" she asked
"I'm doing fine. What can I help you with today" I asked her before sitting back down
"Well, to make things short. I would like to accompany you on these business ventures, I would actually like to form a partnership" she said
"You would like to do what" I asked
"You see I believe I have the skills to take your businesses further than where they're at right now. With the.." she was saying before I cut her off
"The numbers are doing great, even better than before COVID hit. My team and I are implementing new ways to utilize each faculty outside of NBA and NFL players as we're speaking. How much further do you think these businesses need to be taken? We have players from all across the country trying to get fit into my facilities for treatment" I said
"Well you have no international business, and not enough businesses throughout the states. A partner could help you with that" she said
"And what makes you think expanding these facilities aren't in the works? Do you know what it takes to start these facilities, and how long the process actually is? It doesn't get finished overnight" I said
"Grants, the right people, construction workers, you name it, and I have the answer for you" she said
"So if I were to let you contribute to my businesses, what could you do for us" I asked
"Expansion. That'll take it to the next level" she said
"So how long would I have to consider your offer" I asked
"24 hours" she said
"And where is the data or proof to back this up" I asked
"There should've been some paperwork that was faxed to you this morning" she said
"Um here they are Ms. Brooke" Sarah said while picking them up from off my desk
She's got to be kidding me
"Leah.. no where on this paper shows that you have expertise in expanding anything. It just shows you've done research on expanding businesses" I said
"You don't even have any business experience period. This would be quite an embarrassment to my team who's had years in business ventures" I said
"I have something to bring to the table if you would give me a chance" she said
"Look, give me 3 days. I'll have my mind made up then. Let's set you up for Thursday, the same time, and see what we can do" I said
"Alright, thank you so much" she said before getting up to leave
