I just finished the necessary paperwork for my office, I need to make sure all the patients and students will be accommodated for. I have my first staff meeting next week and I couldn't be more excited. I need to go in later anyways to organize some stuff around the place.
"Im starving" Aubrey said while walking in my room
"Me too sis" I said before rubbing my belly
"What you got a taste for" I asked her
"I have no idea, I have to go in at 3 for my marketing meeting and I definitely need to eat before then cause when no telling when I'll finish when I get started" she said
"Workout then bestie" I said while twerking a bit
"Yeah then I go see my baby later on too" she said before sticking her tongue out
"Awwwwww, my Quincy and Aubrey poooh" I said
"So when you, you know, gone find you a lil boo" she asked
"I don't know Aubrey, I'm really not looking for anything right now" I said
"I know but its been a year baby. You thinking about talking to him again or atlas reaching out" she said
"I know sis, I know. I'm not mentally ready to face him right now and I have no idea when I will be" I said while closing my laptop
It has been a year already...
I went downstairs to see my baby Prince. Yes I still have my doggy, he's gotten so big and I'm just not ready for it.
"Hey boy" I said before getting his food ready
When I finished with him, I went to grab some milk. I made a big ass bowl of Cinnamon toast Crunch. Yummy.
I was scrolling through Instagram and ran across a picture of Shareef and I. Wow.
I wish they would get back together already.
It isn't that simple. I got a text from Des asking us to meet him at Starbucks. This nigga loves coffee.
"Des wants us to meet him at starbucks" I yelled to Aubrey
"Bet" she said back
I put on some black leggings, a nike shirt and my Nike Airmax. I have my natural curls in a ponytail.
"You ready" she asked
"Yeah" I said before we grabbed our keys
"I'll follow you" I said to her before I closed my car door
I plugged my phone up and To My Bed by Chrissy came on.
"Oooo this my shit" I said while singing along with him.
When I pulled up I could see Des sitting at the table by the window. He was waving at us like a weirdo. I just chuckled.
"Hey Des" I said before we gave him a hug
"I ordered the usual drinks we get" he said
"Okay thanks" I said before we started a conversation
As we were talking I started to think about my sister, I think about her from time to time. Then I start thinking about the teddy bear with her voice recording. That was the best gift Shareef ever gave me. I press it every once in a while.
"You thinking about your sister" Des asked
"Yeah" I said while holding my head down a bit
"It's okay Brooke, I feel like you'll be truly happy again soon okay baby girl. It will be alright" Des said
