"Bilbo, stay with the others. Tell them I will return." Amara said before disappearing

Amara woke up in the small house in Lake town. Amara could hear the orcs attacking and men fighting. Amara charged out and sent vines and branches to help the people. She rushed to find Bard. The Gods placed a powder that she needed to pour over the arrow along with her blood that would make it so the ring would be destroyed. Her astral self didn't have it but she had hoped that the dragon could do it anyway. Amara killed many orcs and saved many Men before finding Bard and his son going into a tower. Smaug arrived and began setting fire to the town and everything in it. Amara screamed for everyone to evacuate and abandon the town.

"Grab who you can. Run for your lives. Goddess, I beg of thee guide these people to safety." Amara chanted and suddenly vines and branches began snatching people and pulling them to safety

"Thank you, Goddess." Amara said before running to Bard, who was arguing with his son

"Your ancestor did not miss. He hit the right spot but dragon scales are tough and almost impossible to penetrate. Your ancestor knocked off the scale so now there is a weak spot on Smaug's chest. I am going to try and make it bigger for you to have your best shot be ready." Amara said immediately pouring the powder and blood concoction over the arrow

"That is suicide!" Bard shouted

"Its all we got! The Gods brought me here and blessed me for a reason. I am hoping that they will see to it that I live to make their wishes happen." Amara said before jumping up on the window sill nimbly

"Once you fire that arrow and it hits, get out of here, Bard." Amara said before jumping from roof to roof

Everyone was able to see and hear Amara as she set herself in full view of Smaug.

"Ah the little Silver-tongued prey comes out to play!" Smaug taunted

"Round 2, you over grown lizard." Amara said before firing off arrows as Smaug roared

Amara jumped and flipped through the air as she fired her arrows. The Mirkwood elves had arrived to help with the orcs down below and could only watch as the small hobbit girl went toe to toe with the mighty dragon. Smaug would shoot fire at her and she would dodge and send arrows down his throat. Every time Amara saw the weak spot on Smaug's chest she would shoot off scales around it making the spot grow bigger and more exposed. Smaug couldn't feel it because her arrows were too small to go through his chest and cause problems. Amara planted small bags of blast powder around his scales. Amara was growing tired as she expended too much magic. Smaug saw this and fired off a shot hoping to end this for he was getting tired as well. Amara dodged but still got clipped and her arm and side were viciously scorched. Amara crashed landed near the tower injuring herself further. Smaug was so engaged with her that he never even noticed Bard, using his son like a pedestal and a sight, take aim. Amara was out of breath and turned over to look at Smaug.

"You definitely are the mightiest dragon I have ever seen, Smaug the Horrible." Amara said truthfully

"A worthy opponent, Silver-tongued warrior." Smaug said taking in air to fire his last shot

Bard fired first. Smaug roared in surprised agony making him fire off into the sky. Amara rolled away from him and used her vines to get herself, Bard, and his son to a safe distance. Smaug exploded thanks to the pouches still on him and crashed into the Mayor's home. Far away on Mount Doom, a horrific scream was heard as the ring was destroyed and with it the darkness that sought return to the world. Amara was unconscious as Bard and others rushed to her side. King Thranduil carried her to his elves and proceeded to heal her personally. Legolas spoke with Bard and the Men about where they planned to go. Bard and Amara had planned for this and spoke of how everyone was going to former ruins of Esgaroth and rebuild there but they were relying on the dwarves to help. Amara awoke the following day in a tent to Gandalf being near her.

"Well done, my dear. How are you feeling?" Gandalf asked

"Where are the others?" Amara still did not like the man

"The Company is locked in the mountain. They refuse to open the gates." Gandalf said

"Have you spoken to them? Do they know where I am?" Amara demanded

"I have yet to speak to them." Gandalf said

"Then you know nothing about what is happening right now." Amara said forcing herself out of bed

"I understand that you may not wish to be near me, Amara, but I would appreciate being kept in the loop." Gandalf said

"You understand nothing. You would be in the loop if you were here and not plotting something elsewhere. You would be in the loop if you didn't bring Bilbo and I here and then abandon us halfway through the journey. I am not my mother would take that as another part of the adventure. You can not be trusted and I will not waste my time on you." Amara said and staggered outside the tent leaving Gandalf behind

Amara got used to walking and found Thranduil and her godfather, Lord Elrond, talking. There reunion was short and quickly the elves, Bard and some Men, Amara, and Gandalf rode up the mountain. Amara could feel through the bond that Thorin was hurting and something was affecting his mind. She knew the next thing they needed to do was return the Arkenstone to the mountain. Amara looked up and saw the dwarves for the first time since the dragon and Thorin looked bad. He looked thin and ill. Amara felt like crying. She prayed that Thorin could hold on a little longer.
