!We'll meet again (🖤)

I finally did it, I'm going to write a chapter that isn't fluff.🫵🏻 Maybe the next one is gonna be a smut OS. I'm not sure yet. Never wrote smut. Just read it 👀

„Eddie!" Dustin Supported Eddie while walking, when Steve came running towards them. Nancy and Robin behind him. „Hey, you okey??? Robin! Call an ambulance!!" Steve commanded. Robin did as he said. „Hey, I'll be fine. It's just a little bite."
Eddie said with a sad smile.
But Steve wasn't having that. He saw that Eddie wasn't okey at all.

After some minutes the ambulance arrived and they took Eddie with them. Steve asked if he could come too but wasn't allowed to, so he stayed with Nancy, Robin and Dustin.

„Hey, Steve. You okey?" Robin asked, placing her right hand on Steve's shoulder. But Steve didn't respond. He couldn't. He was so worried about Eddie, he couldn't think of anything else. „We gotta drive to the hospital!" Steve said. The three looked shocked. „What, now?!" Nancy asked. Steve nodded. Yes! Now!" Robin tried to explain that it doesn't make sense if they go now, but Steve didn't even listen. "I don't care!" Was the last thing Steve said before he left.

„Let's follow him to make sure he doesn't get hurt." Dustin said. Robin and Nancy agreed and so they followed Steve.

As They arrived at the hospital they immediately asked about Eddie. They couldn't see him yet so they had to wait in the waiting room. When they opened the door they saw Steven sitting on a chair bitting his nails. „Hey, Steve." Nancy Said with a soft Voice as she said beside him. Dustin at the left and Robin in front of him, trying to calm Steve down. „What if he isn't going to be okey.?" Steve whispered, one teardrop rolling over his cheek. „He's gonna be okey!" Dustin said confidently. Steve wanted to believe him. He really wanted. But couldn't. He just couldn't believe their words.
All the words just sounded like lies. Every single word.

„Hey! Steve! Listen. To. Me." Robin snapped her fingers in front of Steve's face to get his attention. As he looked at her, she began. „Eddie is going to be oke-„ but someone interrupted her.

A doctor was standing at the door. „Steve Harrington?" Steve immediately stood up. „You're here for Eddie Munson, right?„ The doctor asked. Steve swallowed. „Y-yes." The Doctor nodded. „Please come outside with me." Steve nodded and followed the Doctor out of the waiting room, leaving Robin, Nancy and Dustin alone.

„What do you think? Is Eddie alright?" Nancy asked, breaking the silence. „Of course he's okey!" Dustin said. He said it confidently even tho he wasn't really believing it himself.

They saw Steve and the doctor talking cause the walls were made out of glass. But they couldn't tell if it's good or bad what the doctor said until they saw the doctor walking away and just seconds after Steve broke down to the ground. The three immediately rushed over to Steve.

He was sobbing tears streaming down his cheeks, it was heartbreaking how he sat there. They didn't even bother to ask, they just hugged him tight.

After Steve calmed a bit down he explained everything. It was shocking news. Eddie had less than an hour. The doctors couldn't do anything. And Steve couldn't handle it. He wasn't ready.
The doctor allowed them to see him one last time.
As they entered the room in which Eddie was they felt something break inside them.
Steve was the first one who walked to him. He sat down next to Eddie, took his hand in his and felt his tears als most falling again. The three others came closer and looked at them with a broken gaze.

"You fucking idiot Munson." He said with a shaky voice. Eddie slowly opened his eyes. With some force he managed to get a smile on his lips. Steve was so close to break. "Hey Stevie, you know what?" Eddie said, his voice was quiet and scratchy. "What?" Steve asked with a little smile. "I didn't run away this time." Eddie said proudly. Steve broke in this moment. Tears streaming down his face. "Oh no, I didn't meant to make you cry." Eddie said, his voice even more scratched. Steve pulled Eddie into a tight hug. "I love you Steve, well meet again, I promise.." and that's it, Eddies last sentence. And last breath. Steve screamed in pain. And hold Eddie tight against his body.

Dustin, Nancy and Robin couldn't stop their tears either.

We'll meet again.
Don't no where,
Don't know when,
But I know we'll meet again
Some sunny day..
