TW car crash mention, jumping mention

I found an old sketchbook from 2019 and it brought back some major nostalgia..

There were so many Ocean doodles in it from back when she had a glass eye and was deaf (or I think she was deaf in those drawings.. I can't remember when exactly that became part of her backstory haha).

She had a glass eye because she was jumped her freshman year, and she was deaf because of a car crash she got into when she was 17.

Those are both scrapped ideas now, but I can't stop thinking about her being deaf..

I kind of want to make a mini AU out of that.. Like everything else is the same but something happens to make her lose her hearing..

That something would have to be different than her driving a car and getting into a car crash because she drives a moped scooter and refuses to get behind the wheel of a car because of how bad her experience trying to get her license to drive a car was.

Hmm..

I would say make Chance be the reason she loses her hearing but I think that sick bastard has had enough spotlight already haha

I just... think it would be interesting to see how her loved ones react to her becoming deaf...

She's living her best life, the happiest she's been in years, and something suddenly causes her to go deaf.. Which would be a huge impact for her because... being a music major revolves around hearing things..

I'm just not sure what that something should be though...
