I made an aesthetic for the Dystopian AU :D
Also.. I know yesterday I mentioned something about writing Dakota angst..
I got to thinking about Dakota in this AU..
Her brother is part of the cult... And seeing as she's related to him.. That would cause some issues in the resistance with people who don't know Dakota as a person. I feel like Dakota would be targeted by people from both sides because they're siblings..
"What if she's secretly a spy?"
"She shouldn't be here, she's probably just as horrible as her brother. She'll end up hurting all of us!"
And then you'll have the cult trying to kidnap her so that her brother can manipulate her into joining the cult... since they're siblings...
He'd probably use Ocean to do it too.
He'd try guilt tripping Dakota with the whole "But I'm your brother :(" thing, and then if that didn't work, he'd threaten to have Ocean killed if she didn't cooperate :( Of course, he couldn't actually kill Ocean, because she knows valuable information that they need (even stuff Dakota doesn't know) and if he kills her they won't get that information. If Dakota (hesitantly) still refuses... he'd probably have her thrown in a cell like Ocean and keep them both hostage...
Dakota’s gonna have to go into hiding to prevent people from the resistance from killing her, and to prevent the cult from kidnapping her.... poor thing :(
