Final term was about a week away and pretty much everyone who had wanted to pass worked and studied hard these past few days. Me however, I wasn't feeling motivated lately for some reason. I also felt packed with my homework and preparing for next year's student council work.

I felt extremely tired as I waited for the bell to ring so we could finally leave. I really needed a nap right now. Five minutes.....four.....three...two..one!

The bell rung and I got up right away while hearing my teacher shout.

"Don't forget to read chapter 32!"

I was about to leave the room until I felt someone hold my shoulder.

"Kyori?"

I turned around and saw Haise.

"Hm?"

"Do you wanna study at your house? I mean finals are coming up and I'd like to study with someone."

"Your little buddies don't wanna go with you, Haise?"

"They have plans today and I've pretty much cleared my afternoon today!"

"Fine, I guess", I mumbled.

"Yay!"

:::

"And this is my room...we can study at the table I have in the middle. I'm gonna grab a coffee want one?", I asked.

"Yes please!"

I grabbed the coffees for both Haise and I and returned to my room to see Haise sitting on the ground with his books out.

I took a seat beside Haise also grabbing my books out.

"So.. where do we start?", I asked.

"I really need help in math it's so difficult!", whined Haise.

He opened his workbook that showed a bunch of unsolved problems.

"Seriously, Haise? You might as well call this basic math.. in the parentheses multiply by the reciprocal, then do the exponents outside it, then just multiply it.. sorry Haise, but how did you get into the smartest class?"

"I swear I'm good at other math! This just puzzles me okay!? I swear I'm smart. I'm going to place higher than you."

"Wanna bet?", I smirked.

"Okay! If I place higher I get to take you somewhere during the summer and I don't know about you..."

"I'll decide when the time comes."

:::

"It's almost 7 P.M already?", I whispered as I laid my head down on the table.

"What's wrong Kyo? Feeling tired?"

"A little.", I mumbled.

"I'll leave you to rest I'll see you tomorrow Kyo."

Haise packed his things and played with my hair before we walked out of my room.

"Goodnight!", he shouted.

"Night.."

While my head was still down laying on the table I hadn't noticed how flustered I had become. My face felt like it was burning up.I had known Haise for about 3 months and in those three months, I've grown a reputation, both bad and good? Haise's fan girls have been glaring at me for how incredibly close I've gotten with Haise since we walked home together everyday now. On the other hand, I was building myself a good reputation for starting to engage in conversations a bit more often and I was beginning to erase the past everyone else had built me up upon.

I picked my head up from the desk missing Haise's presence, but immediately felt a wave of exhaustion overcome me and I fell asleep.
