Nari's povWe ate in silence for the entire meal.
And that was more than fine with me.
I didn't want to hear another word that could possibly come out of Kim Taehyung's disgusting, beautiful mouth. Wether it be a backhanded compliment, a straight insult, or a basic curse word thrown in my face, I didn't want to deal with it.
Food was important to me. In fact, I loved food more than anything in the world. So naturally, I liked to enjoy the thing I loved most in peace. The steak was good, cooked perfectly, and the sauce was to die for, rich and slightly tangy. All and all, the plate was perfection, undoubtedly worth all the money that I would not be paying.
I smirked behind my hand gripping the my fork. Tonight was a good night. I got to smash my....whatever the hell Taehyung was to me.....but anway, I got to smash Taehyung's head onto a dining room table at a fancy restaurant where I could order whatever I wanted without worrying about the cost.
I was able to get a few good curse words and yelling sprees in, my therapy for the month, and the icing on the cake, the person I hated a pretty decent amount was miserable.
What a lovely evening!
I downed the rest of my wine and clacked my empty glass onto the table. Taehyung looked up from eating whatever he'd ordered, and I just rolled my eyes as we made eye contact.
I heard his scoff before he continued with his meal.
I held in my laugh, shaking my head as Taehyung remained silent.
But his silence didn't last long.
"Where the hell are you going?" he asked as I rose from my seat.
"Ah," I said with a sneer. "You don't need to worry about that, darling."
I started walking away, taking my purse with me. "Nari!" Taehyung yelled, and in response I gave him the middle finger. "Don't you walk away from me, tell me what you're doing!"
I laughed hysterically, still walking away, "And why the fuck do I have to listen to you?"
I heard Taehyung curse me soundly before his chair aggressively screeched back. I turned around, and I couldn't hide that I was slightly shocked to see him charging toward me, radiating with anger. His eyes burned all the way through to the back of my head and I gulped, my heart leaping as he huffed a deep, pissed breath of air.
"I said," Taehyung snapped as he came forward and gripped my chin, harshly turning my head back in his direction. "Where the hell do you think your going!?"
Ignoring the harsh sound of my heart hammering up against my chest, I slid my purse behind my back and flipped it open, sliding a knife out. I prayed Taehyung didn't see, but he was looking so deeply into my eyes that I doubted he noticed. "Answer me, Nari," he seethed.
I rolled my eyes, and before he could scold or hit me for the disrespectful action, I pressed my knife against his neck. "Kindly let go of me," I said very calmly.
I smiled at Taehyung's reaction.
He was shook.
As he should be.
He released my chin and I smiled, though it was a sickeningly sweet smile. "Good boy," I purred, and Taehyung's eyes caught fire, which I found to be quite amusing. "I'll be off now, and if you even think about coming after me I will shove this blade through your heart," I finished with a slight smile.
"Your crazy," Taehyung breathed, backing away from me slowly.
I smirked at him, "Damned right. And just a little FYI, I have a pistol as well, and I'm going to go ahead and make the assumption that you aren't armed, so if you think of touching me again you will no longer have both your hands. So don't come after me, I'm sure you'll find what I'm doing far from..............well you just won't understand. So I'm going to go now. See you later."
