Taehyung's POV

"Why can't I see?"

"Because you can't."

"That's not an answer."

"Well, it's my answer."

"I bought that with my money."

"Well, it's my dress!"

"That you got with my money!"

"God, Taehyung! Let it fucking go!"

I groaned, my fists clenching at my sides.

I was getting annoyed. She would simply refuse to show me what dress she bought, and I had no clue why. I didn't care what she wore, I didn't care how slutty or skin revealing it was. Because it would make no difference, and if anything, the better and more delectable she looked, the more jealous others would be, and the more fun I'd be having.

They would see her, and they'd have to deal with the fact that she was my  queen.

And I'd make sure to rub it in their faces.

"Nari," I groaned. "I don't care what you picked out, I really don't, and I'm not going to make you return anything because I'm not that guy. I just want to see what dress you purchased."

"No," she responded flatly.

I felt like shooting something.

I looked at Nari, "Darling," I tried cooing. "Let me see the dress."

Nari clutched the bag closer to her chest, pushing the papers and dress further down. "I want it to be a surprise," she insisted, and I chuckled.

"A surprise?" I muttered in question.

I didn't miss how Nari's face blanched slightly, how she grew suddenly unstable. "Yes," she tried. "I don't want to reveal it quite yet."

I tisked, "Then it had better be a damned good surprise. Because, Princess, I'll have you know I simply adore fun surprises, just as I adore you."

Nari crinkled her cute little nose, "Shut up, you cringey fuck."

I gritted my teeth, anger spiking in my bloodstream.

I did love her little attitude, it was one of my favorite things about her actually. It was the thing that had originally hooked me in, made me realize she was more than just a little bitchy whore. But it was sometimes my least favorite thing about her as well. It drove me mad. To the brink of insanity. Some of the things she'd say.......my God I simply could not handle it.

"Nari," I warned. "Don't talk to me like that."

She scoffed, "Yeah, okay, Taehyung."

God, I loved it when she said my name.

Chuckling, I hooked my arm around her waste, pressing her close to my side. Where she belonged. "Time to go for another ride," I whispered, my lips grazing the shell of her ear as she stiffened. Before she could even react, I swept the bag from her hands and dragged her with me, practically scooping her along.

"What are we doing?" she asked, looking at me with slightly widened eyes.

I smiled sweetly, "Would you like some lunch?"

She sneered, "I'm not hungry. Jin just gave me some french toast."

I nodded as if understanding her, "Ah, of course. How could I forget? How insolent of me," I smirked.

She gave me a questioning look, attempting to break free of my hold around her waist. That wasn't going to happen. She wasn't going to get away from me.
