Love is all you Thneed

The Oncelor ran over to the nearby laundromat and took off his messy t-shirt, leaving his washboard abs, perfect for shredding cheese, out for the whole world to see. And maybe the whole world wouldn't quite see Once, but someone did, The Lorax. Once didn't see him, but the Lorax was just picking up his dry cleaning, when he was met with Once's firm, strong back. 

The Lorax felt a sensation he never felt before, looking at the handsome man, was this what love was?

"Oh! Sorry, I didn't see you here." Once said

"Oh it's fine-" The Lorax stumbled on his words, as the dashing British boy smiled at him

Even though customers weren't supposed to leave the washing machines unattended, Once walked out of the laundromat and took a stroll down the campus, he took a left turn down a side of it that he hadn't seen before, and he noticed a thin tree with black and white bark, and at the top was a big ball of fluffy tufts, Once couldn't help but climb the tree, He took a tuft off the tree before sliding back down, it was softer than silk and it smelled the indescribable smell of butterfly milk. Once used it to wipe the beads of sweat off of his forehead, and they came off, along with what little grease was on his forehead, making it completely smooth and clean. Once was finally struck with an idea! One that was sure to grant him billions! He climbed back up the tree and began plucking tuft after tuft off the tree, until the pockets of his khakis were completely stuffed. He hurried back to the apartment he shared with O'Hare and began knitting immediately

"What are you doing?" O'Hare asked, judging Once

"I think I found a million-dollar idea!" He exclaimed

"Knitting? I don't know if I'd consider that a profitable industry!" He sneered

Once ignored him and finished his thneed! He put it on and went back to the laundromat with it on. People kept staring at him like he was the coolest guy ever

"Hey, nice- what is that?" Asked Lois

"It's a-uh-" Once stumbled on his words cutely "A thneed!"

"A thneed?" She repeated "it's real pretty, did you make it yourself?"

"Yeah!" he replied proudly

"How much do I have to pay for one?" Asked Lois

"Oh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh- $20?" Said Once "I'll get it to you in three hours, what dorm do you live in?"

"I live on the second floor of the third tower dorm, room 024!" She answered

"Alright, I'll deliver it to you later!" he said

"Oh, thank you thank you thank you!!!" She smiled wildly

Once continued walking to the laundromat and got his shirt from the washer. He was too impatient to put it in the dryer and wait, so he just brought it home with him and threw it on the floor, before immediately getting back to his knitting, when he was done, he brought it to Lois' apartment and handed it to her

"Oh, thank you Once! It's beautiful!" She said, "How many have you sold so far?"

"Just one." He spoke

"Do you have a website or anything?" She asked

"No," he said

"How about I help you, we can design a website right now! My friends want to buy these so bad after I told them about it!" She offered

"Okay! Sure!" He spoke

Meanwhile, things weren't going as well for the Lorax, when he walked into his dorm, his roommate, Peter, was freaking out!

"Peter, what's wrong?" Asked the Lorax

"I'm pregnant!" he panicked "What am I going to tell Lois, I feel so bad! I cheated on her with O'Hare!"

"I think you should tell her soon." Said the Lorax wisely, the Lorax was very wise, you can't have a dunce speaking for the trees, after all

"You're right," he said "I think I should go tell her now, will you come with me?"

"Sure Peter." He agreed

The two of them left their dorm and scurried over to Lois'. When they reached her door, she answered just 5 seconds later

"Peter, what a surprise!" She kissed his cheek, "What brings you here?"

"Lois! I- I-" He stumbled on his words "I'm pregnant!"

"You're what?" Her eyes widened

"And I think it's O'Hare's baby!" He confessed

"You cheated on me with O'Hare?" She yelled in a rage "O'Hare of all people, that dweeby, stupid little good for nothing-"

"I'm so sorry!" Peter wept "Will you please stay with me? he just treated me so well!"

"I think I need some time to think about it, Peter." She spoke

Once's heart sank when he heard what Peter said, O'Hare really went that far? And got peter pregnant? He felt his heart shatter into a million pieces. He didn't know if he could stand to stay with him after hearing that. Once walked home without even uttering a goodbye to Lois. He tried to swallow his pain until he couldn't bare to do so anymore, halfway home he started to cry, wishing he could find someone to love him, who'd say he was the most beautiful man he'd seen before and mean it, someone who could make him feel such joy. He swung his apartment door wide open

"O'Hare!" He screamed

"What?" He turned his head to face Once

"Congratulations, you really messed up." Once shook his head

"What do you mean?" He arched his left eyebrow

"You're going to be a father: you got Peter pregnant!" He yelled

"What?" O'Hare's eyes widened

"I want you to be gone by Friday, and I never want to see your sorry face again!" Once used the sleeve of his thneed to dry his eyes,

"You're forgetting one thing," O'Hare said "My name is on the lease, so actually, I want you out of the house, but not by Friday, I want you to gather your things and get out right now! How dare you even think of breaking up with me!"

Once went to his room and gathers a few of his things. He had never felt so alone before, gathering his things as fast as he could. As soon as he got everything, he sprinted out of his apartment in tears. but on his way down the stairs, he noticed the Lorax, huffing and puffing like he just did the cupid shuffle for the first time

"Lorax?" Said Once

"Hey sor-sorry-" he breathed "You had to see that, did O'Hare kick you out?"

"Yeah." Once sniffled

"Do you want to stay at my place for a while? I don't know whether or not Peter will be staying over, so it might be a little awkward though..."

"Okay, I mean, what choice do I have?" Once wiped his tears away

Lorax guided the Onceler to his dorm, keeping his hand on his back the whole way there.

When they got to the Lorax's house, Peter was already asleep in his room, and when Once got situated, ready to fall asleep with a pillow and a blanket, the couch suddenly disappeared!

"Oh no!" Exclaimed Once

"It looks like you'll have to share a bed with me." Said Lorax, his face was red, and he felt himself getting hot
