I feel a tap on my shoulder. I see Henry. "Hey" I hug him. "Can I stay with you tonight" "not tonight buddy I have to help with your class remember" I state.
"But I need to talk to you about Prince Charming" "I'm gonna stop you right there," I say sitting down.
"First off Prince Charming and Snow White are together not a witch and a Prince" I state. "Second I'm not the daughter of the evil queen no matter how bitchy mom is" I add. "Third shouldn't you be at school," I ask.
"I'm waiting on someone" he states.
I continue eating my breakfast. "Here you go" Ruby hands Emma some hot cocoa.
"Thank you but I did not order that" she states.
"Ya, I know you have an admirer" she looks over at Brahm.
It wasn't Brahm.
"Hey Stella" "oooh you're still here that's a good sign" I chuckle.
"Ya thought id stay a while" "cool" I stand up and hand Ruby my money and leave.
I walk around the school grounds on my break. I'm the vice principal and currently have no work.
I see my mom and she gets Henry and talks to him. I look at Mary Margaret "everyone say good morning Ms. Stella" "good morning Ms. Stella" I smile at them. "Good morning" I greet.
He comes back. I walk over to him and crouch down. "Everything alright" "she got Emma arrested" my mouth parts.
"Jesus okay meet me in my office after school" I kiss his forehead.
Later he and Mary Margaret walk in.
"I'm bailing her out"
"Okay what are we waiting for let's go"
"HEY," he says as he runs inside.
"Henry Henry what are you doing here" "my mom told him what happened" I answer.
"Of course she did," she says not surprised.
"Henry I don't know what she said-" "you're a genius" he states.
"What," she says confused.
"I know what you were up to you were gathering intel for Operation Cobra" "sorry I'm a bit lost" Brahm states.
"It's need to know sheriff and all you need to know is Ms. Blanchards and Stella are gonna bail her out" Henry states.
"You are," she asks.
"Why" "I uh trust you" she states. "You" "you remind me of someone I used to know" I state.
She looks at Brahm. "Well if you could uncuff me I have something to do," she says holding her arms up.
After Emma gets done dismantling Regina's trees I follow mom.
"Sucks doesn't," I ask taking an apple off the ground. "What," she asks. I wipe off the apple. "Knowing she's winning," I say taking a bit from apple. "Knowing Henry's gonna leave you" I state.
"She's not his mother" "oh but she is and that scares you," I say walking closer to her.
"And you should be scared" I smile.
"Very...scared"

Back at home in me and Mary Margaret's apartment.
There's a knock on the door. She gets up and opens the door.
"Emma what's up" I greet with a smile. "I just wanted to say thank you and pay you back the bail money" she hands her the envelope. She looks like she has more to say. "You look like you need to talk" "come in," I ask.
We sit at the table. "Cinnamon" she ate with a little plate of cookies in hand.
"Oh sorry should've asked it's a little quirk of ours do you mind," she asks.
"Not at all no thanks" "when you nailed me you said that you trusted me and I reminded you of someone" she states.
"Why who," she asks. "It's strange ever since I arrived here I've had the oddest feeling as we met before and I know it's crazy" "I'm starting to reevaluate my definition of crazy," she says sipping her cocoa.
"I don't know but I know they're a good person and I care about them a lot" "and for what it's worth we think you're innocent" she states.
"Of breaking and entering or just in general" "whatever helps you sleep tonight night" I answer eating a cookie.
"It doesn't really matter what anyone thinks I did or didn't do I'm leaving" she states.
"Thank you both for everything but I think it's for the best"
"If I stay Henry's just gonna keep getting hurt" "what happens if you go," she asks.
"You don't know what our life is like it sucks don't make it a living hell for him" "I think the very fact that you want to leave is why you have to stay" she states.
"You care about him" "who will protect Henry if you won't," she asks.
Later that night before visiting hours ended I walked into John Does room.
I replace the dead flowers with pretty ones. A rose to be exact.
