Kirana's POV

Have you ever felt someone missing from your life? Or just felt that someone is gone?

And that you feel lonely and vulnerable when they're gone.

Is It even more worse when it's someone you knew since you were a kid and close with? Because I think it is.

Well I feel it everyday because of that day. That very day that changed me and my family. It was only been a 3 weeks since it happened.

*Flashback*

"Mami?" I asked in confusion.

"Kirana! Come to the hospital! Lucas has been shot." Mom rambled to the phone.

Right then and there, my heart dropped to my stomach and the grip on my phone almost slipped.

"What?" I gasped. "When?" I asked.

"Kirana what's wrong?" Nash asked behind me.

"Saya gak tahu tapi 10 menit yang lalu, saya dapat telepon dari rumah sakit. Mereka bilang Lucas mengalami kecelakaan mobil dan ada peluru di kepalanya. Pas paramediknya tiba, mereka menemukan detak jantung. Dia sekarang berada di ruang gawat darurat." Mom explained.

(I don't know but 10 minutes ago, I got a call from the hospital. They said that Lucas was in a car accident and have bullets at his head. When the paramedics arrived, they found a heartbeat. He is now in the emergency room.)

"Where are you guys right now?" I asked frantically. "Me, Hannah and Leon are heading to the hospital he is admitted to. We will be there in a few minutes." She said.

"Mom there it is." I heard Leon said through the phone.

"Wait what hospital are you guys going to?" I asked worriedly. "Dad is admitted at Saint Johannes hospital." Hannah said on the phone.

Nash came behind me. "What's happening right now?" He whispered because I was on the phone.

"Alright we'll be there soon." I said. "Please hurry Kirana." Hannah pleaded. I ended the call and grab some clothes from my suitcase.

"Woah woah slow your horses down! What's going on?" He asked confused.

"Lucas is in the hospital, he's been in a car accident and was shot too." I said in a hurry while putting my clothes in a record speed.

"Wait what?!" He exclaimed in shock. "Come on we need to go to the hospital." I said while throwing him his clothes.

"We need to go fast." I said after putting on my clothes.

*Still flashback*

We made it to the hospital in just 10 minutes. Since it turns out, the hospital wasn't that far from the hotel they were at.

We went to the receptionists in a frantic. "Lucas Meyer!?" I asked in distressed. "Is he still in the ER?" I asked the nurse who was typing the keyboard hurriedly.

"No actually, he got out of the ER and is now put in a room." He said.

"What room is he in?" I asked getting impatient. He looked at the monitor again. "Room 417 at the 4th floor. Just take the elevator down the hall on your left." He informed while his hand pointed to the left.

"Ok thank you." I thanked before we dashed out of the desk to the elevator.

I pressed on the up button frantically. "Come on come on come on." I said several times while pushing the button but the number was going down so slow.
