Chapter 1 ➻ comienzo

I headed into my new work office. I'm so glad Joy showed me this place. But she did say there might be a shock once I found something out. But I honestly don't give a fuck. I finally found a new job! I set things up in my office & decorated it.

Wow, This place is kinda dark for a Ceo office. My phone rang, Oh, It's joy. I picked up. "Haii! How's the place so far?!" She asked me. "Hello Joy, I love the new place so far." I said. "You don't sound like it." She said. "Come on Joy, we go through this everyday, I told you why I don't act or sound 'excited'." I said "I know I know, but I thought this time it would be different! Anyway did you get to your surprise?" She said. "What surprise-" "Oops gotta go bye!" she said.

I walked out of my office to go look around. As soon as I stepped out I saw Five men in black surrounding a man holding guns. What the fuck is happening?! The men all looked fine, I tried to see who they were surrounding. A handsome man with a cold face. I wonder if he's any important.

"Cut the bullshit, he's not here." The cold man said. The 4th man scoffed. "He said he'd be here, That was an hour ago!" He said. "Taehyung don't be impatient. He's coming!" the cold man said. "Boss, I highly doubt it. Taehyung is right, it's been a fucking hour." Another man said. "Listen here, Don't curse while you speak about my brother or your kneecaps will be gone." he said to the man. The man rolled his eyes while waiting.

I walked past the 6 men to go get something from the bar. Soon i was accompanied by their leader. Was this the surprise Joy was talking about? Not very thrilling. I got a drink & I felt a gaze on me. I turned to see their leader staring at me. Does he need anything? Why is he staring so hard at me? I got my things & went back to my office.

I texted joy.
Me: Your surprise was so lame.
Joy 🌤: Whatever you hater!
Joy: 🌤: Has he tried to speak to you? did you try & get to know him?
Me: Joy you know what happened last time I got to know someone.
Joy 🌤: I know but I thought this time it would be different :(
Me: I don't think it'll ever be different. Not for now at least.
Joy 🌤: Come by after work? Please I wanna know how your first day went!
Me: Fine.

I'm a very anti social person. Joy was the only one that could understand me, she read me like a book. I gotta admit, i'm very glad to have joy as a friend but sometimes she can be a real pain in the

I was filling out some applications until i felt that stare again. Him again? He must need something from me since he keeps following me. He stood behind me. "What are you filling out?" He asked me. "an application." I replied "For what?" He asked me. "Do you really have to know?" I asked. He took his gun out and pointed it in the middle of my forehead. i stared at it. I honestly didn't care if he was going to kill me.

He took the gun down once he saw I didn't flinch or scream for my life. I thought he would've said something but instead he took my mouse and went deeper into my laptop to see what I was looking at. He saw I was signing up for therapy. "Oh, If you need therapy there's a therapist in the 2nd floor. We got her because most of the people that work here need it anyway." He shrugged. "Thanks I'll keep that in mind." I said He winked at me before leaving.
