Chapter 5

Readers pov

It was the day of Rias' rating game and we were all in the ORC as I watched them all ready up for this rating game. "I'm sure you'll guys do great those ten days I would say is the best for you all." I said looking at them. I saw the double doors open revealing sona and tsubaki. "Well I wish you and your peerage good luck." Sona said. "Lady Rias are you ready." Grayfia said appearing as Rias nodded. I watched as all of them teleported within the magic circle. "Gonna watch it with us (y/n)." Sona said as I nodded. I walked with them to the student council as Sona used an orb to reflect what was happening in the rating game.

Third person pov

(Y/n) was watching the rating game from the orb and was intrigued seeing how the game works seeing Rias and her members in action. "I see your intrigued about the powers of devils (y/n)." Sona said looking at her. "I guess seeing this made me curious but I'm very conflicted about it." (Y/n) said as she kept watching the rating game seeing Rias and her peerage taking out risers pieces. (Y/n) watches seeing issei and kiba were surround by several of risers pieces. But seeing there coordination is key as (y/n) watches as kiba slammed his sworbirth down towards issei as he absorbed it and creating a bigger sword birth taking out the pieces surrounding both of them. "Amazing." (Y/n) as the rating game progressed on revealing koneko getting taken out with akeno soon after being taken out by riser's queen holding some vial. "What is that." (Y/n) said. "Those are Phoenix tears which are able to heal all damages." Sona said as risers queen then took out kiba. (Y/n) watched as issei run to where Rias and Asia are as riser and his queen were there as well issei tried to fight riser but his queen was an obstacle resulting in issei taking the hit and falling to the school grounds it made Rias worry about issei's safe being which resulted in her surrendering to riser. Sona then closed the orb. "She did a good job for her first rating game. I'll see you guys at the reception in a couple days." (Y/n) said as she left sona and tsubaki.

-The day of the party-

It was the day of the party I was standing with sirzechs . "Was quite a game." I said looking at sirzechs as he nodded. "It was but though unfair to my little sister." He said. I watched as riser little sister brag about their win towards Rias and her peerage. 'I swear that blonde drilled bitch says anything bad she'll get a bullet.' I thought to myself. I watched as kiba, Asia and koneko enjoy themselves while sona came up to them. "Why don't you go see your friends (y/n)." Sirzechs said to me. "I will in due time." I said looking at them. "Also (y/n) I heard you were intrigued by devil powers. Let me introduce you to a friends." Sirzechs said as I nodded as a man with slick white hair and a maroon suit came up.

"This is Sparda a long time friend he is intrigued by your stray devil hunting skills. "It's an honor to meet you lord sparda." I said bowing before him. "The pleasure is all mine you kinda remind me of my son dante I ask you a request can you be the heiress to the sparda bloodline." He said. 'An heiress to the sparda bloodline but sparda is a demon not a devil.' I thought to myself. "You seem conflicted." He said looking at me. "Yes I am scared that my sister would see me differently if I were to become a devil along with upholding her legacy as the Bloodhound of Florencia." I said showing this studded knife. "I see keeping a promise to a family member is a heavy task but I will respect your choices on what your answer will be." He said. "But if I become the heiress to the sparda bloodline what about your sons." I said looking at him. "Dante and Vergil have no interest while dante has become more of a devil hunter and Vergil seeking more power they haven't shown interest in keeping the sparda bloodline which is why I ask you." He said. "Also I'm merely a human, a maid to sirzechs and this seal I made with my familiar. Do you really want someone like me to uphold the sparda bloodline." I said looking at him. "Why yes sirzechs has told me about your hunts putting strays down even if you are a human which is why I wanted to meet you and offer this to you." He said. 'He's right he would never offer this to any devil and sparda is a legend amongst demons a higher class than devils.' I said to myself. "I accept this offer." I said looking at him. "Very well it is a simple ritual." He said holding a wine glass. "Drink my blood." He said as he slit his thumb and mixed it with red wine and offered me the glass. "Well bottoms up." I said drinking the glass. I felt the sensation of sparda's blood mixing into my blood stream. "Well til we meet again (y/n) also here is something you will need." Sparda said handing me a necklace with a purple amulet leaving as it was just me and sirzechs. "Are you going to kick me out sirzechs." I said looking at him. "No you still are a member of the house of Gremory even if you are a heiress to a demon clan we will still accept you." Sirzechs said. "I will go see them now." I said as sirzechs nodded as I walked down to where sona, kiba, koneko, and akeno where. "You three did good in your rating game." I said walking to them. "(Y/n)." Sona said. "Hello even watching the game you three tried your best even though the result was what it was suppose to be." I said. "Thanks for the support." Akeno said. "Hey (y/n) where did you get that amulet." Kiba said looking at me. "It was a gift." I said as I watched riser appear. "Welcome esteemed guests to risers engagement party on behalf of the Phoenix household.This is a historic moment for devils and I want our dear guest to know two great dynasties are about to become one. Lord riser the house of Phoenix shall wed lady Rias of the house of Gremory and now I present to you my bride Rias Gremory." Riser said as Rias appeared in a wedding dress. The door then busted as a guard fell revealing issei. "Issei." Rias said. "Who do you think you are boy." Riser said as issei talked about Rias and doesn't give a crap which shocked both riser and ravel. "Seize him." Riser said. "Well guess that's our time." Akeno said as I watched the three of them take down risers royal guard. "Go save Rias issei." Akeno said. "I know you can do it." I said. "Lord riser is this your doing." a noble said. "It's just a little entertainment i prepared." Sirzechs said. "Yes along with a new heiress born." Sparda said. "Whoa who's that." Issei said. "My brothers here." Rias said. "That's guys your brother who's the guy next to him." Issei said. "It's great devil lucifer and the legendary dark knight sparda." A devil said. "What do suppose to mean by entertainment." Riser said. "I watched the game riser and honestly I was underwhelmed by you given by Rias' lack of experience and your incredibly larger forces she nearly had you beat."  Sirzechs said. "It's the final results that count." Riser said. "In the past the games don't used to besides riser you were nearly brought to your knees by a first timer." Sirzechs said. "Besides we don't have a celebration like this often even along with the birth of a new heiress and besides this party could use some flare right sparda." Sirzechs said. "Why yes of course the sparda bloodline will live on by that young lady." Sparda said point me. "(Y/n)." Rias said. "A human will keep up the sparda bloodline preposterous ." A noble said. "You think I would make a fool of myself the sparda bloodline will continue on with her at the helm though do I want to see your fight prowess with my own eyes." Sparda said. "Oh I see you want a fight." Riser said looking at me and issei. "Dragon vs Phoenix then Phoenix vs demon." Sirzechs said transporting issei and riser into a makeshift arena.

Third person pov

Issei and riser were standing off in the arena. Everyone watching from the orb and Sirzechs telepathically speaking to issei about his reward if he wins against riser that he wants Rias Gremory. They all watched from the glass orb with issei and riser looking at the reflections. The two began to clash with issei taking about how doesn't have the talent like the other members or the durability like (y/n). Everyone in the ballroom was watching issei transform and hearing a ten second countdown seeing the clash between issei and riser as they kept trading punches as the countdown soon continued til his armor disintegrated making him fall. While in the ballroom it was (y/n)'s time to jump into the arena. "I'm ready lord sparda." (Y/n) said coming out in a new outfit.

(Y/n) was then teleported into the arena seeing issei on his knee's. "You did good issei." (Y/n) said walking towards riser. "Well if it isn't the maid that shot riser. Riser can finally get his revenge on y-." As riser was cut off from (y/n) coming in at a speed not even most devils can see. "How most of us didn't see her with a blink of an eye." Rias said. "A true candidate for the sparda bloodline seems I've made the right choice." Sparda said. "Brother what does he mean." Rias said. "I've given (y/n) my blood which enhanced her abilities with her strong body she more than a super soldier." Sparda said watching the fight between (y/n) and riser as riser threw fire balls as (y/n) was dodging them left and right. "Why you bitch riser will kill you." As riser kept going used her new gift from lord sparda. "That weapon she's holding." Kiba said. "The devil sword dante a weapon my son uses which I replicated to her skill." Sparda said. (Y/n) then slash all of risers fire balls with serval strikes. She then switched to ebony and ivory as she began shooting holy bullets at risers chest making him fall to his knees. "How can riser fall to a meer human rise will not be humiliated." As riser shot a hell blast at (y/n). "She took the hit." Akeno said. "Has she been defeated." Rias said. As the smoke cleared down revealing (y/n) in a whole new form.

"Is that." Rias said looking at the new (y/n). "The sparda bloodline's signature the devil trigger." Sparda said as (y/n) swiftly kicked riser across the arena knocking him out as (y/n) about to do the finishing blow ravel came in and stood between the newly (y/n) and knocked out riser. "Don't hurt him." Ravel said as a gun was pointed at her by (y/n). "Be lucky he's still alive and I'm merciful to those even if there assholes." (Y/n) said as she got out of her devil trigger and walked away picking the injured issei. They were all back in the ballroom as (y/n) put the injured issei down with Rias and the others checking on him. "Since you won the fight is there anything you wished for (y/n)." Sirzechs said looking at (y/n). "No the wishes of others are more importantly than mine alone." (Y/n) said thinking about her sister, master Garcia, Rias and the others. "If I may sirzechs sparda I will be heading home." (Y/n) said as sirzechs nodded and sent (y/n) home via a magic circle.

Rias pov

We were celebrating the victory of both (y/n) and issei but (y/n) is not here. "Where's (y/n) brother." I said looking at him. "She requested to go home for the time being the reason is unsure so I sent her home." He said. "Well maybe we can congratulate her when we see her at school tomorrow." Akeno said. "She did help when I was down." Issei said. "It sounds like a great idea." I said as we began to plan for (y/n)'s celebration at school tomorrow.
