"How could you do this to your own family." Mrs Kim said eyes flashing. "The Yangs and the Kims are our biggest shareholders, how am I going to explain this to Mrs Yang now??"

Seungmin stood there head hung low, his face covered in bruises and dried blood was hanging below his chin. He took a deep breath and looked up his mother.

"I do not want to be engaged to Kim Aria." He said. His mom's eyes widened. "What??" She said in disbelief.

"I don't love her. I love Kim Areum." He said voice full of determination. "You have never asked what i wanted, you just planned my life out without even asking me, for-"

Before Seungmin could finish his sentence, Mrs Kim slapped him. "Ungrateful brat." She hissed through clenched teeth before stomping off.

"Ahh, I understand now...everything is good...yes yes...I'll see you soon!!" Mrs Yang said before hanging up the phone, smile dropping.

"Mrs Kim's son is really a threat right now." She said hands clenching together. She turned to her secretary. "Have you gotten Jieun's information??"

"Yes ma'am." he said handing her a file. "Good, you can leave now." She said before flipping open the file.

"This is supposed to be a clique romance novel..." the librarian said flipping the comic book pages. "But why can't I predict the ending??" He said.

"This is getting really interesting." he said before putting the book back under Daeun's desk.

"What am I going to do right now." She groaned into her pillow. "What is up with that Kim seungmin??" she cried. "Is he trying to make my comic life worse than it already is??"

The videos was circling everywhere and she's been trying to reach Seungmin but no luck. Her phone rang and she jumped at it thinking it was Seungmin but it was her sister, Kim Aria. She sighed in disappointment and picked up.

"Hello??" she said. "So, even my fiance is head over heels in love with you right now, what should we do??" her sister teased.

"stop it unnie, it's driving me insane." Daeun cried out. Aria chuckled and said. "I'm calling to check in on you, seems like alot has happened since I left."

Daeun leaned back on her bed. "You have no idea." she said. "I'm also kind of glad Seungmin likes you..." She said, her voice getting smaller at the last part.

"What?? why?? wasn't he your first love or something?? when we were younger we would play family and Jeongin and I were a pair and you and him was one, what happened??" Daeun said shocked.

"It's just moving to the U.S. to study made me realize how different he and I was. And this so called long distance thing isn't working out anyways." Aria said.

Daeun slowly connected the dots. "Wait unnie are you interested in someone else??" She accused her.

"Yeah...i've been secretly dating someone else for a few months now, I felt guilty because of seungmin but now I guess I don't have to worry as much now because he likes someone else too." She said.

Daeun gasped. Her sister, the goody two shoes of the family, is dating someone else.

"It's not something i'm happy with either." Daeun said picking at her nails. "How am I going to face both of them in school now?? I just ran away when they started fighting."

"Well, you had a crush on Jeongin since forever..." Aria said. Daeun rolled her eyes. "I'll just see what happens, it's not like I get to decide anything around here anyways."
