It was around 4 pm.
Darius and I had just got finished playing some basketball with the boys on the court
My head started throbbing badly and I started to feel stressed out
Smoke break
I threw my hand up at the boys before opening the backyard gate and wobbling into the garden

Darius decides to stay outside and continue the game
(That he's winning)
I open the backdoor and walk up the first staircase that leads up to the living room and dining area.
Our family dog Snuggles started trailing behind me wagging his tail.
Snuggles: " bark bark "
Ellis: "Hey bud, mom forgot to give you back your toy again?"
I bend down to scratch behind his dirty white floppy ears. Snuggles was a whitish almost tan Mantipoo.

We've had him for 2 years already. My parents got him for Darius and I's 14th birthday.
Snuggles: " bark "
"Alright, I'll give you back Mr. Squeaker's."
I walk over to a black marble shelf that was next to the TV. I reach over the very top shelf and grab a yellow duckie toy.
I look down at the small toy and press into it.
SQUEAKK
*smirks*
Snuggles sat close to my leg and patiently waited for his toy's return.
I bend down and gently put the duckie on the ground. Snuggles bit his toys and shook it around.
I pet him one last time before walking over to the second staircase that led to the bedrooms in our house.
