𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐭: 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫

"It's been a week now dream, and you haven't talked about you. Why don't you tell us why you're here?"

"Well.. Uh,"
Dreams eyes roamed the room seeing the all too many familiar faces, and of course, the group leader, Mia.
"Well, i uh, 2 months ago now, i lost my boyfriend to a car accident." He smiled a little as tears weld up into his eyes.
"Do you wanna talk about that?" Mia asked softly and after a bit of hesitation, he nodded.

"Yeah,, it started in august"

Dream and sapnap had their 2 year anniversary, like usual, they had their little alone time and then invited their friends to a dinner at a restaurant, George,Quackity, Karl and Tina all showed up and gave them small gifts as they showed up.
They all sat down by the dining table and sapnap could swear he saw George wink at dream a few times, but he didn't mind, he trusted his boyfriend more than he trusted himself. But he was a bit worried when Dream smiled in reply to the previous wink. They eventually got their drinks, and their food, and soon the emotion of slight disappointment washed away and they all had fun and laughed together, but he couldn't help but notice George's hand a bit close to dreams. He knew he was tipsy, so sapnap took the blondes hand holding it in his in which he earned a smile. George was of course a bit upset by this but didn't say anything.

The dinner went on for almost an hour, with them just talking and having fun, dream was having a lot of fun, and he couldn't help but feel the alcohol take control over him.
George pat dreams shoulder, and when dream looked at him, he took his chance and connected their lips. Everyone else around the table paused and stared at them, and sapnap, who was furious , got up, and rushed out. Dream quickly pushed George off of him and rushed after Sapnap, but the ravenette had already gotten in his car. Dream went with Quackity and Karl who drove him home, but once he came home he didn't see their car.

Slowly the three started to worry, calling his phone and getting no reply, even trying to track the car. And then, Dream herd his phone. He picked it up seeing Sapnaps number and quickly responding, and before he could say anything, the sirens in the background caught his attention.
"H..Hello?" Dream said in a bit of a panic
"Is this clay wastaken?" An older man responded, Dream quickly replied and asked where Sapnap was. He was met with a silence. He put the phone on speaker so that Quackity and Karl could hear.
"Sapnap was in a car crash. He passed away, I am so sorry" the man said softly. Dream nodded softly, whispering a small okay and thank you before hanging up.
He could feel all his body weight rest on his knees and they buckled, allowing him to fall. His eyesight slowly became blurrier and blurrier and he cried. He cried for what he had lost, and for what he could have done, he cried for being blind about George and for not stopping Sapnap sooner.

"And uh.. That was uhm,, 2 months ago" Dream smiled faintly as tears spilled from his eyes. Mia looked at him with sadness in her eyes as she nodded, the other group members of the psychiatric group stayed silent, out of respect.
"And if there's something you could say to him right now, what would it be?"
Dream waited a bit and chuckled silently
"It's gonna sound dumb but uhm,,I'd probably say I'm sorry, about everything I got him into, and how that caused him to,, y'know.
Yeah..
I'm sorry"
