Aiden's first day at Hexside

(In the office of Principal Bump)

Aria: So, I would like to enroll my son into Hexside.

Principal Bump: You want me to enroll your son, Aiden Clawthorne, who's father is also a Blight, to attend this school?

Aria: (nods) Yes, and who knows, maybe he'll get along with his cousins?

Principal Bump: Perhaps, what magic is he good at?

Aria: Aiden is good at illusions and beast keeping, he's raising a phoenix.

(Principal Bump looks a little surprised)

Principal Bump: Raising a phoenix is very rare. I just hope he won't be a trouble maker like you were in the Beast Keeping and Illusion tracks.

(Aria chuckles nervously)

Principal Bump: We can schedule for an audition tomorrow.

(Tomorrow at the auditorium, Aria is sitting next to Principal Bump in the front row while Amity, Edric and Emira walk into the auditorium)

Aria: Hello, Amity, Edric and Emira.

(Edric and Emira wave at Aria)

Edric and Emira: Hello Aunt Aria.

(Amity waves at Aria)

Amity: Hi Aunt Aria

Aria: Why are they here?

Principal Bump: Odalia needed them to confirm how his audition would go.

Aria: (scoff) And she didn't even come. She was never there when Aiden was born, even though I invited her and Alador.

(Aiden makes a spell circle, creating an illusion of a phoenix, which amazes his mother, cousins and the principal)

Edric and Emira: Whoa!

Principal Bump: Impressive.

(Aiden creates a spell circle to make a bird call as a juvenile phoenix flies into the auditorium, shocking everyone as it lands near Aiden)

Principal Bump: A phoenix?!

(The phoenix shrieks when Aiden makes another spell circle)

Aiden: Sit!

(The phoenix sits, shocking Bump)

(Aiden makes another spell circle)

Aiden: Speak!

(The phoenix shrieks)

Principal Bump: Remarkable, I think your son is qualify to attend Hexside.

(Aiden smiles as Aria runs upstage to give her son a hug)

Aria: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!

Edric: Looks like our cousin going to be a student here.

Emira: I bet we can teach him a few school pranks.

(Amity glares at her older siblings)

Amity: Don't even think about it.

Principal Bump: Aiden can start be tomorrow. He might need a guide and I know the perfect student who'd be willing to accept the task.

Aria: So, who do you have in mind?

(Moments later at Principal Bump's office, Gus enters)
