Classroom of the Elite / Ayanokoji in class B

Chapter 2

I woke up and it's 4 AM. I take a shower and clean up the dorm.

After the shower I take around 10 minutes to dry off and then head off to the gym. On the way to the gym, I met a guy who I can remember from yesterday. He's not from my class though.

???: "Hoho, look who I don't have to find later on in the day." He smirks.

The person in question is the student council president. Not sure if I'm unlucky or lucky.

Ayanokoji: "Hello senpai, what can I do for you?"

Not going to lie, the way he gazes me straight on is quite scary, it kind of reminds me of Horikita's, but it's not of disgust, rather the gaze is calculating.

Horikita M: "I am the student council president, Horikita Manabu, it is a pleasure to meet you Ayanokoji-kun.

How does this guy know of me? It must be related to the fact that the S-system was questioned by me. That still doesn't answer my question, how does he know of me? How much power does the student council president possess?

Ayanokoji: "If you already know my name, then I don't know if a self-introduction is necessary, but I want to do it anyway. I am Ayanokoji Kiyotaka of Class 1-B, the pleasure is mine. What would the student council president want with a 1st year student so early on in the year?"

Horikita Manabu clearly waited for that question as he fixes his glasses and makes a satisfying "hmph" sound.

Horikita M: "The reason I was going to look for you today is because I want to invite you to join the student council as a vice-president. Before you question my decision, no I do not hand in invites on a whim, I can tell that you're more than meets the eye, you decided to score 80 on every entrance exam. No need to mention the fact that you understood the S-system after a single day." He knows too much, this guy is scary, I rather wish that he would be on my good side though.

(In this storyline he scored 80 on every exam, that's part of a reason he was placed into B class)

Ayanokoji: "Coincidences can be scary Horikita-san. As for the invitation to the student council, I will accept your invitation on the condition that I get a separate office." Why do I want a separate office? I don't want my activities being monitored by whoever is on the student council, I'd rather not be bothered by such things.

Horikita M: "I'm afraid I can't accept that so easily, how about we place a bet? If you win the bet you will get a separate office where you can operate your student council duties, but if you lose, you will owe me a FAVOR and you won't get your office." He seems pretty confident, I would be too, he can't be the student council president for show.

Ayanokoji: "I will accept this bet, what will the competition be?" I'm happy that he gave me a chance,

Horikita M: "I mean we are both heading to the gym I can tell, so how about a best of 5 in some exercises? Since I came up with the idea, I'll come up with 2 and you come up with 3, is that fine with you?"

Ayanokoji: "That would be fine with me, my 3 exercises would be: Muscle-ups, bodyweight dips and the biggest bench press number wise." I decided to go for some exercises that would be obvious gym exercises.

Horikita M: "Alright, I will choose my 2 exercises to be biggest squat number wise and mountain climbers." An interesting choice, this competition could actually be a full-body workout, we're only neglecting bicep exercises but that's alright.

They walked towards the gym at a calm pace. As soon as they entered the gym, it was empty, with the only person being inside running at 20 km/h without breaking a sweat, his conglomerate aura radiating through out the gym, I wonder who it could be???
