Chapter 3

Why was I in a music store? The answer is that I was attempting to find a piano that wouldn't be too expensive.

The average piano's cost is around 500k yen or in my terms, 500k private points. I don't have that many points, so my idea is to pay in segments. I will inevitably spend more than 500k that way, but I've got no choice, since you can only get points monthly or by other methods. The other methods include asking someone for points or extorting them from peers, upperclassmen using the CCTVs to my advantage.

The latter would be a terrible way for me personally, since I don't want to attract too much attention on myself.

But while I was on the lookout for a good quality piano for a decent price, someone seems to disturb me while I'm deep in my thoughts.

Ichinose: "Ayanokoji-kun? Fancy seeing you here!" She gleams. You're playing a dangerous game Ichinose you're playing with guys' heart strings.

The only thoughts I had were the following:

A – What is she doing here.

B – How do I avoid getting attention, I thought most people don't just stumble into a music store.

Ayanokoji: "Could say the same Ichinose, I didn't think I'd see you of all people here."

Ichinose: "What do you mean by that, I think this is a place where everyone comes to time after time." She says with a slight pout.

Ayanokoji: "Well I guess so, there aren't only instruments in this store anyway, there's vinyl records, vinyl players, some artist and band merchandise etc."

Ichinose: "That's right so just because I don't play an instrument doesn't mean I can't be here! I came here to meet-up with some people from class A and class D, want to join us?"

This might be the last thing I want to be honest I want to continue my search for my one and only, my irreplaceable, the one who will fill the void that's within me. That's right, I am talking about my piano.

Ayanokoji: "I appreciate the offer, but I'll pass, I just came here because curiosity got the best of me I guess."

Ichinose: "Aww that's too bad, I was hoping you'd join me but maybe next time? See you Ayanokoji-kun!" She waves and goes to the front of the store where the rest of the 1st year line-up is.

I proceed to ask about being able to pay in segments for the piano from the store attendant. He briefly explained that is possible and there actually is. The interest is lower than I thought. It was 5% I believe. So if I wanted to buy this 500k piano and I were to plan to pay it off in a school year. I'd have to pay a monthly fee of 52.5k, that is good enough. I also asked about the shipment, he said that the store will handle it, so I will have no issues getting it into my office, awesome.

I proceed to head to the dorms. On my way home I saw a bench that had a nice view of the ocean and its surroundings. I had the thought of buying a snack and watching the sunset.

My youth is quite eventful as you can tell. Cough Cough

The snack I chose to buy was ice cream, I chose the cookies and cream flavour, since it was a pretty popular choice by most people according to the internet. I proceed to eat it and gaze upon the environment. The Sakura blooms wallop down along the wind as the sunset. The ocean was still visible and it made for a beautiful sight. Although anything is beautiful when you live your life in a white room with a bedframe that's white and with a blanket and pillow that is also white. The room's walls in white. I hope that I'll never go back to that place.
