Chapter VIII

(Y/n) pov

We ate dinner and Mike asked me if I could drive him and his friends to the arcade. "Yeah, sure just tell 'em. And hurry up" I told him closing my door, so I could change. I put on a mid thigh length black dress, that was kind of off the shoulder but it had shoulder straps. With fishnets and ankle high combat boots. As for my makeup just a simple burgundy lipstick with the mascara I already had on. A knock interrupted my moment.

"Let's go (y/n)" Mike yelled through the door. "Okay I'm ready. How do I look?" I asked him, giving him a little twirl. "Like a total slut, let's goo" he replied before running down the stairs. "Mom Dad, me and Mike are going out we'll be back at some point, love ya, byeee" I yelled before grabbing my keys and walking out the door. "Okay be careful, love you too" yelled Dad.

I drove to the Sinclairs first, then the Hendersons, and finally the Byers. The Byers took a little more convincing than the rest, but I do understand because of the Will incident. I finally was able to convince Joyce. Will and I were walking to the car, he was about to get in backseat. I stopped him and opened the passenger door. "Hey what the fuck" said Mike confused. "Get out Will is going here" I said assentingly. "But- "No buts expect for the one that you're moving to the back" I cut him off. He listened and went backseat, Will got shotgun and we went on our merry way to the arcade.

We got the at arcade they all ran like their life's depended on getting inside. I was just their looking over them till I saw a cute boy. I walked over to him and we talked for a while. Then we started kissing.

Mike pov

Dustin was playing a game. Me, Will and Lucas were watching. He lost. "This overpriced, bullshit" Dustin said angry. "Hey, Dustin someone beat you high score" Lucas said looking at the screen. "Let me play again. Someone give me some coins" Dustin demanded, stretching his arm out. We all looked in out pockets to see that we were out of coins. "Don't tell me we're all out" pleaded the curly haired boy.

We ran to the closet person we saw, Keith. "Kieth, let us borrow some money, please" I pleaded with him. "And what do I get out of this" he asked. "Even loyaler costumers" I tried to reason with him. He looked at me with a 'no not good enough' look and then a 'I have an idea as to what you can give me' look. I knew those look all to well because (y/n) taught me. The rest of the group seemed to have caught on as well. "Come on just get him the date" said Lucas desperately. "No I'm not prostituting my sister, we'll at least not Nancy" I told them. "Oh that's messed up why would you let him get the good looking one"
Dustin and Lucas whined. "That's messed up Mike. Why would you prostitute one sister but not the other" Will asked/explained. "Because I know that Nancy will say no and (y/n) will just not talk to me for a while. (Y/N)" I yelled.

(Y/n) pov

I looked around when I heard my name. I pushed off the guy on me. "Don't look for me, don't try to call me, and don't dare talk about this" I told him as I walked over him, I pushed him too hard and he fell to the floor. As I was walking over to where I heard my name, I cleaned up the lipstick smudged over my mouth. I pulled out a cigarette and lit it. I finally got over to where the kids were.

Kieth pointed over to a sign that said 'no smoking', I flipped him off and blew the smoke in his face. "What do you need Mike" I asked him. "Will you be willing to go on a date with Kieth" he asked a bit sacred. I saw Will in the back shaking his head. "What why" I told him confused and needing an explanation. "Well we need more coins to play this overpriced game" Dustin said, but not before he cut off Mike. "First of all you could've asked me. Secondly, ew. Thirdly, will you be paying" I asked Kieth. He nodded. "Fine, ten bucks each. Kieth, tomorrow night 7 sharp" I told him, after he gave the boys the money. He nodded and walked away.

"Okay let's go, boys" I told them. "Why did we through all that trouble if we couldn't use it" whined Mike. "Hey they close the diner in 30 minutes. Do you guys want milkshakes and fries or not" I said to them. As soon as I finished that ran to the car. Will riding shotgun and the other three in the back. "Why does Will always ride shotgun" Lucas asked confused. "That's because he's (y/n) favorite" Dustin told him all knowing. Will and Mike just nodded their heads.

We had gotten to the diner. Me and Will order a strawberry milkshake, Dustin and Mike a chocolate milkshake and Lucas plain old vanilla. And french fries for all of us. The bell of the door caught my attention, making me turn my head to the door. I saw the one person I did not expect to see here, Billy and Maxi.

They both looked around, I waved over at them so they could join us. "Well, hello there pretty girl. Didn't expect to see you here" Billy said, sliding in besides me. Maxi following his lead but across from me. She was next to Mike. "Well I didn't expect to see you here either handsome" I replied, I looked over to Mike and Maxi. "Maxi, baby, how have you been? I haven't see you in a while" I asked the red hair. "Oh you know been a little bitch like always" Billy replied for her. "I didn't ask you did I, Billy? No, right. So let her speak" I told him, while I stomped on his foot. If there was one thing the boy's knew, is to never speak for someone else. Billy groaned in pain. "I've been okay, I guess. I'll have a strawberry milkshake and he'll have a chocolate milkshake and fries for both of us" she replied to me before she turned to speak to the waitress.

"There a party tomorrow night. I was wondering if you wanted to go with me" Billy asked, taking a sip of the milkshake. "She can't she has a date" Will replied for me since I had milkshake in my mouth, I nodded. "Date? With who" he asked baffled. "It doesn't matter. I have to rain check maybe next time, sweetheart" I said to him, patting his shoulder teasing him. He shrugged my hand off. He got up to leave and was about to pay. "Hey, it's on me" I yelled at him. He looked over at me , but accepted the fact that I was going to pay. So, he and Maxi went in their way home. I told the kids it was time to go.

I went up to the cashier to pay. I paid, then we walked out. I was driving after dropping of Lucas, Dustin, and my brother. Me and Will went on our nightly drives. I took him up to my hill, he was half asleep when we got up there. "Hey, William wakey wakey. We're here" I said as gently shook him. He didn't budge so I picked him up so he could backseat and lay down.

I opened my trunk, bottles of whiskey, vodka, and tequila filled the trunk and a bag with a special type of green plant. I picked up the bottle of tequila, opened it and took a big swing of it. I walked to the drivers door and opened the storage compartment. I took out my cigarette and walked further ahead. Sat on the grass when I found the perfect spot. I lit my cig and took swings at the bottle of tequila. Until everything went black.
