Steve, (Y/n), and Dustin had finally gotten to the junk yard. Dustin and Steve dumped the reaming meat in front of a school bus. "I said medium rare!" a voice yelled, all three of them turned to the voice. It was a dark haired boy and a red head girl. (Y/n) ran to both of the kids.
"Luke, Maxi, how are you guys? How did you know we would be here" she said hugging both them individually. Lucas was currently pressed against (Y/n) chest, Lucas was in clouds. She let go of him and looked at them for a while. "I walkie-talkie them. You were there dont you remember" Dustin said to blue-eyed girl. "She probably doesn't dont even try she's got the memory of a snake. Anyway, we need to get to work we have 40 minutes of light left." Steve said taunting. Every one got to work by picking up scarps of metal and putting them on the bus.
"So, hows it going with my brother" Maxine asked the older female. "Well other that the fact that he beat up my best friend-" I replying to her before she cut me off. "Wait he beat up best friend, I thought he beat up Steve" said the ginger. "Steve is my best friend but dont you dare tell him I told you that. He fought with Steve and hasn't talked to me since, so compared to all the other time I think it going splendid." (Y/n) told her sarcasm spilling from her voice when she said splendid.
"I really think its going great. He never stops talking about you. He's being much nicer to the point where he is actually talking to Niel" Maxine said. "Who's Niel?" (Y/n) replied. "His dad, you soon to be father" she said wiggling her eyebrows. The girl with black hair shook her head and rolled her eyes.
Steve had overheard most of the conversation, especially about Niel going to be (Y/n) father. He put his hand down his shirt and pulled out a chain with a ring on it. He shook his head and tucked the necklace back in. He headed over to the two boys that were talking hidden by some rusty cars. "Hey, how come the only ones helping are (Y/n) and a random girl" Steve said. "Her name is Maxine!" (Y/n) yelled at him. "Yeah yeah" replied not paying attention. Both Dustin and Lucas got up and were already ahead of Steve. (Y/n) ran up to Steve and wacked him in the head. "Say her name" she demanded. "Ow! Maxine her name is Maxine" Steve told her, as he tried to sooth the pain in his head. "Atta boy, now get back to work" (Y/n) told him as she skipped back to Max.
All of them had successful barricaded the bus. Now they were just waiting for baby demogorgons to show. The kids were on the roof of the bus. Steve and (Y/n) were just there in the bus waiting for something. "Hey I was hoping you could explain why you quit being friend with Tommy, Carol, and Me?" she asked the boy.
"I just got tired of all of it, you know? I got tired of asking people who they were and all the expectations that we had to live up to. All the other people think its a dream to be at the top but it's horrible" Steve explained hoping she would understand.
"Yeah but you and I thrive off of expectations, and if you don't thrive you are left to rot. Pressure is what makes diamonds, don't forget" (Y/n) told him. Getting up to tell the kids to come down.
It has been another while now it was just Lucas that was keeping watch. Max and Dustin were arguing about something and Max ran off to where Lucas was. Steve was flickering his lighter and winking at Dustin. "Why are you winking?" Dustin said confused. But Steve continued winking at him. "He saying you did a great job showing her you didn't care" (Y/n) told the curly head. "Well I really dont care, stop winking" Dustin yelled at him.
"Uh guys there something over there" (y/n) told the boys. "Over where? Gives a time" Dustin retorted. "You think I know this stuff you nerd" the blue eyed replied. "There's thing over there, 10 o'clock" Lucas yelled from the roof. They all turned left while the older girl turned right. (Y/n) felt a hand on my head twisting it left. Steve mouthed 'this way' she looked towards the thing embarrassed. "Why isn't going for the meat" Maxine asked. "Maybe its sick of cow" Dustin replied. "Yeah that means it's time to expand the menu" Steve told us confidently. The female then saw him grab his bat, she knew exactly what he was going to do. (Y/n) followed his lead and grabbed my mallet. He walked out swing his weapon. She walked behind him silently like a ninja. "Here. I bet human taste a lot better than cow" Steve taunts. (Y/n) whistle at the baby demogorgon. Steve jumped and turned back terrified soon his face relaxed when he saw who it was. "What are you doing here?" Steve whispered yelled. "You need help dipshit" she whispered back at him. "There another one two o'clock" Lucas yelled at them.
They realized they were surrounded by small demogorgons. One was charging straight to Steve he was barely able to hold it back with his bat. He didn't see the one coming up from behind. (Y/n) took swing and flung it across junk yard. "Come you on two! Get on!" The kids yelled at the teenagers. They ran to the bus. Steve got on first while (Y/n) fended them off. (Y/n) stood there not moving. "(Y/n), hurry" Dustin yelled worried. She wiped the sweat of her forehead. She ran like there was no tomorrow to get on that bus. Steve shut the door with his bat. They then came to the conclusion that they were now stuck in a bus, and surrounded by other dimensional beings.
Max made her way to the fire exit in the roof when she was climbing up the stair she came face to face with something. She let out a ear piercing scream, Stave rushed over to her. "Stand back" he yelled after tossing Max somewhere. Luckily (Y/n) wad there to catch Max. Something called for the baby demogorgons. They all turned to windows to see where they were off to, (Y/n) stayed behind and wiped her cheek.
"It like they were all called some where" Lucas said. Everyone got out of the bus, and made their way..... where ever really. "So, about the Halloween party. I'm sorry, I was drunk and I didn't know what I was doing. I shouldn't have done that to you. Forgive me?" Steve pleaded to (y/n). "I told you not to blame yo-" she stopped mid sentence she heard something. "Did you hear that?" She asked Steve. "Hear, wh-" he also had now heard it. "Everyone shut up" (Y/n) said to the pre-teens. All of them shut their mouths while Steve lead the way towards the sound. "Have any of you not watched a horror movie. You don't go to the sound" Maxine huffed. While (Y/n) lightly pushed her forward.
