Alexa's POV

I was actually sleeping well until I just had this strange urge to go outside. I didn't even bother to put on shoes. I just walked straight outside through the back door in one of Cameron's shirts and short sleep shorts.

To be honest, I had no clue what was going on.

I kept walking to where I just felt like I was being pulled to. I felt like I was sleep walking almost. Like I was there yet I wasn't.

I didn't stop walking until I saw Josh. We where in the middle of a big field. Why? Well, I'm just as clueless as you.

"Thank goodness you came," Josh said as he slowly made his way towards me.

"Wait you mean you made me have that feeling?" I asked, confused. Considering I had no clue what was going on.

"Yes. Since we're mates, I can reach out to you," he said.

"Oh. Well I guess that makes since, but why did you need to see me?" at this point we where only about a foot apart.

"My wolf just couldn't take having you so close to me but so far away," he said, while he slowly brought one hand up to stroke my cheek. I tried to ignore the small sparks that erupted when his skin made contact with mine.

I just stayed silent and waited for him to speak up. "I know you know we're mates," he said after a long silence.

"Yes, I know," I replied. I wanted to keep everything short. I kept my face emotionless, so he couldn't tell it was actually killing me to not just jump in his arms.

"Well, where do we go from here?" he asked while he continued to stroke my cheek.

"What do you mean? There is no we. This is going to go no further. I am already arranged to be married and we're enemies. If it wasn't for the hunters, I would have already killed every one of you and your stupid little pack," I said harshly while stepping back to get away from his hold.

I had to end this conversation quickly or I might just except this mating, but I couldn't. It would ruin everything I've worked for. I had to stay strong. I had to stay strong.

He just stood there with his mouth slightly open. He was shocked, to say the least. I guess he didn't expect it to go this way.

I noticed the sun starting to come up and realised I needed to be back for training. I turned on my heel and walked straight to the house.

I ran upstairs and changed into a black dri-fit tank top and some silver and turquoise nike shorts with matching nike airs. I also slipped on my watch that I wear during training to keep up with the time. I just left my hair to lay in its black curly mane down my back.

I jogged down the stairs and ran to the back yard at 6:55. I noticed that it looked like almost everybody was there. "Who's not here?" I said loud enough so everyone heard.

"Olivia isn't here!" someone from the back shouted. I just smiled slightly knowing I would get to have some fun with this whenever this Olivia decided to arrive.

I had them start off with three laps around the house. Which is actually equivalent to about a mile and a half. While everyone was returning from their laps some girl, who I'm guessing is Olivia, came strutting over.

"You are?" I asked with a cold voice. I saw her flinch but she tried to cover it up by smirking.

"Olivia Hathorn," she said in a snooty tone like she owned the place.

"You're late, It is 7:25," I seethed at her.

"Oh, I know. And what are you going to do about it," she replied with the most annoying voice I think I've ever heard.

"Is that a challenge?" I asked while walking towards her, each step I was taking was with purpose.

"Yes, it's not like you could do anything to me anyways," she said while trying to remain confident, but I saw her shaking.

"Russel! What happened to this agreement!" I hollered with my Alpha voice. Everyone flinched and began to inch backwards. I knew my eyes and hair where red by this point. That mixed with my alpha voice and my intimidating stance was probably making them all pee themselves.

"I'm sorry Alexa, this will never happen again," he said nervously while trying to pull Olivia away.

"Why are you apologizing Alpha, she couldn't do anything to you. I could beat her. She's all bark and no bite," the whiny whore said while stopping them both in their places.

"I repeat, is this a challenge? Loser gets death?" I asked her one more time while taking a step closer to her.

"Yes. It's on. Winner gets your position, or in this case I'm going to became Head Fighter and Protector," she said with a smile while prancing to the other side of the field before facing me.

"Why does everyone want to provoke me? What did I do? It only leads to their death anyways," I announced while I turned to face her.

Cameron said, "1...2...3... GO!" before he stepped away and let the fight begin.

She immediately sprinted towards me and tried to punch me and I easily stepped to the side. While she was accepting that all she did was hit air, I gave her a roundhouse kick to the face knocking her to the ground.

She began inching backwards on her butt, while I just stood there.

"Do you forfeit?" I asked her.

She stood up slowly with a smirk and said, "No."

"Fine with me," I was just enjoying this really. She ran towards me again with her arms out, like she was going to try and scratch my face. I simply laughed and gave her a knockout punch the the other side of her face. Leaving her unconscious on the floor.

"Russel! Get your pack under control," I ground out while walking towards the house. "Practice has been canceled for the day!" I announced before I slammed the door shut.

Everybody must want to die.
