The next day Cassie woke up with a massive hungover. She was nauseous and her head felt like it was split in two.
She groaned and rubbed her head, sitting up in the bed. She checked the time and saw that it was already 11 a.m.
She sighed and got out of the bed. She walked to the chair in the middle of the room and grabbed her leather jacket before heading out of the room.
She whistled at the rampage the party of last night had left and looked around the house, trying to find Tina. When she hadn't found the girl after 15 minutes of searching, Cassie just gave up and went to the kitchen to get herself breakfast.
She made and ate a bowl of cereal before putting her bowl and spoon in the sink and lighting a cigarette.
She took a drag and exhaled. "Well, guess I'm gonna go home." She said to herself.
The pounding in her head had become slightly less and she hadn't even thrown up, which was a very nice surprise.
She grabbed her motorcycle keys from the pocket of her leather jacket and went outside.
She unlocked her motorcycle and got on it, driving off.

Once Cassie reached her house, she put her motorcycle away and went inside. "Steve, I'm home!" She yelled.
When she got no response, she grew a little worried. "Steve? Are you here?" She asked, putting her keys on the table.
Again, she got no response. She walked up the stairs to Steve's room. She knocked on his door lightly. "Steve?" She asked, a concerned tone in her voice.
She heard a quiet sniffle from the inside before Steve cleared his throat. "Yeah?" He said, voice cracked.
She frowned. "Were you crying?" She asked confused.
More sniffles were heard from inside. "...no." Steve lied.
Cassie shook her head. "Can I come in?" She asked gently, her normally loud and obnoxious voice quieted to a soft and kind whisper.
She waited for an answer from behind the door as it was quiet for a bit. "Yeah." Steve said.
She opened the door and stepped in, finding Steve sitting on his bed with his arms around his legs, head resting on his knees.
Her brother looked up at Cassie and she noticed his swollen red eyes and nose. She walked over and sat on the edge of the bed. "Hey... It's okay." She said softly, scooting closer to Steve and wrapping her arms around him.
He leaned into her and Cassie rested her head on his, rubbing his back reassuringly. "Do you wanna tell me what's going on?" She cooed, caressing his hair.
Steve nodded slightly. "Yeah..." He said, trailing off.
Cassie continued raking her hands through his hair. "Go on." She pushed gently.
Steve exhaled shakily. "You know at that Halloween party last night? Well me and Nance went together and at some point she was drinking a lot, so then I said 'Hey Nance, why don't you slow down on the drinks?' or something, but she kept chugging that stupid alcohol so I tried to grab the cup from her. She didn't give it and the punch spilled all over her, staining her blouse. She got really angry and went into the bathroom to clean it off and I was like 'That isn't gonna come off.' and then Nancy said 'Yes it is.' and she continued trying to wipe the stain off and I tried to stop her and take her home, but she didn't want to. I tried to convince her and then she called me, our relationship and pretty much everything else bullshit. So apparently my girlfriend of a year and a half doesn't love me." He rambled.
