"Besides, you take care of Octa, I'm always so busy with recording or streaming and with other business things, I forget about her and that's very irresponsible of me but luckily you're here, I could never get bored with you two." "That's true, but I've always been a dog mom, speaking of which, where is the little gremlin" I start looking around.

"Octavia" Jaren calls and whistles. "Where is she?" he asks. "Let me, Octa! Come here girl" you pat your thigh. You hear her nails making noise against the floor. She's running towards me, hops on the couch and lays her head on my lap. "Hi girliee" I started petting her. "See? She listens to me more" I grin. "Yeah yeah whatever" he rolls his eyes.

"Ooh so about the question I wanted to ask" he gets up from the couch. He starts pulling my arm to get me to stand up too. "I'm sorry baby, he's being a bitch am I right?" I coo at Octa. "Fuck you" he chuckles. "Alright alright whattt" I stood up. "Where's your phone?" he asks. "It's upstairs in my room, charging." Why does he need my phone?

"Lets go get your phone, I'll explain in a sec" he starts pulling my hand like the little kid he is. "Why tho?" I ask. "I said I'll explain in a moment." As we were walking upstairs I asked, '"So how long will you be gone for Pax?" We get upstairs, he runs into his office and I go to my room to grab my phone. I walk to his office to see him on his PC. "Fucking explain already" I groan. "Alright alrightt I will, calm down bruh." Whos messaging me right now? I checked my phone, Jaren sent me an attachment. "What did you send me?" I ask. "Just open it" he replies with his back turned to me, doing something on his PC. I open my phone to look at what he sent me. A plane ticket? To Boston?? "Jare, why did you send me a plane ticket?" He turns his monitor towards me. "So would you like a hotel room for yourself or do you wanna share a room with me? I'm taking you to Pax East with me." He turns to you, grinning. No fucking way.. I dropped down to the floor, shocked. I struggle to form words. "I- I- whatt??" I look at him with my mouth wide open. "Close your mouth you're attracting flies bro" he chuckles.

"What do you mean you're taking me to Pax? You're joking right??" "Nope, I know how much you've always wanted to go to Pax so I thought, since you're living with me, mom can't say anything. I already got you a badge, a plane ticket to Boston and I'm booking the hotel room right now-" I jumped up from the floor and hugged him tight, cutting him off. He starts making choking noises, telling me that he "can't breathe".

I let go of him, I started crying out of happiness. Thanking him and hugging him again. "So, the hotel room?" he asks, chuckling. "Oh right," I wipe away my tears "uh i'll share with you, i don't wanna sleep alone in a new place" "Alright, i understand." "Are you okay with sharing a room with me?" I ask anxiously. "Of course, you're my little sister. We already live together so I don't care." "What about Octa though? What about her? I ask. "I'll hire a house sitter for the time we're gone, they will take care of the house, my plants and Octa as well." I sigh in relief. "Okay, and again, thank you Smit for this surprise" I hugged him for the last time. "That's what big brothers are for, right? And don't call me Smit, you know I hate that nickname" he stated. I grinned while walking out of his office.

"Hey you wanna stream Raft with me and Eli later?" he asks. "Sure I'd love to, I'm gonna order food, you want anything?" I ask him. "Yeah get me Pizza Hut please, my usual" he begs. "Alright I got you." I opened the delivery app to order food. I went back downstairs to find Octa laying on the couch, sleeping. I sat down next to her. She wakes up and crawls closer to me, putting her head in my lap again. "Aww, you're so cute" I start petting her. I put on a movie and got my favorite blanket. I started watching the movie while petting my favorite pup in the whole world. My eyes grew heavy and I dozed off.
