A//N: Hi! Just wanna give a quick warning, this chapter does talk a bit about toxic and abusive partners/relationships. "Who's this?" I ask. "It's Nikki, are you okay hun?" she answers. "Oh uh, yeah I'm alright" I say with a not-so-promising voice. "Can you open the door please? I want to make sure you're okay" she asks and I unlock the door.

Nikki POV

I hear the door unlock. "Can I come in?" I ask her. I hear a faint "mhm" from the other side of the door. I slowly open the door to find her crying. I close the door behind me and lock it, I crouch down and put my hands on her knees. "What happened dear?" I ask her. "Nothing, I'm fine" she replies and wipes her tears. I grab her hand and give it a light squeeze. "No, you're not. I can sense it, will you please tell me what's wrong? Or do you want me to tell your brother, maybe you can talk to him?" I ask her. "No, please not Jaren. He can not know about this, please" she starts sobbing and hides her face with her hands. "Okay, okay, I won't do or say anything you don't want me to. I promise" I rubbed her knee to comfort her.

We sat in silence for a bit, I'm okay with it and she's starting to calm down aswell. "So um, why I cried" she started talking. "If you don't want to explain then you dont have to, it's okay" I say. "No, it's fine, somebody needs to know about this. My brother can not know about this though" She looks me. "I promise, without your consent I won't tell Jaren anything" I reassure her. "So, 2 years ago I had a boyfriend. I told Jaren that he's my gay bestfriend and he believed it. I was busy with school and I didn't really have any time to spend time with him and so he got aggressive, saying that I was cheating on him. Eventually he got violent." she explained. "Oh honey" I put a hand on her shoulder. "I was crying because he asked me if I wanted to stay with him at the meet n greet or go walk around with y'all. I want to stay with him but there will be a lot of people, people might judge me and I'll just be in the way, but if I go with you guys I feel like he would get mad at me. And then I got the flashbacks."

I pull her in for a hug, she puts her hands around me and we stay like that for a bit. "Thank you" she says. "No, thank you for trusting me to tell me that information, do you want me to talk to Chris and inform him about what happened? I'm sure he understands" "I don't know Nikki" she picks at her cuticles. "I know that you're anxious and scared, but he needs to know this. Communication is important for the relationship to stay healthy" I explained. She sighs, "You're right, I don't want to mess up again." "Don't say that, what happened in your last relationship is not your fault. You had your priorities set and followed them, he did not respect that and that's his fault." "Yeah I guess" she sighs. "So, are we going to inform Chris?" I ask her. "Maybe not right now cause everyone is there, I'll tell him that I'm gonna walk around with y'all and explain to him later tonight" she replies, looking up at me. I wipe her tears away and stand up, putting my hand out for y/n to take. She takes my hand and we walk out of the stall to the sinks. I help her fix up and do some breathing exercises with her.

y/n POV

We walk back to the table where everyone was sat and acted like nothing bad happened. "Hey, you okay? You were gone for quite a while." Chris asks me quietly. "Yeah, I'm fine. I was in the bathroom" I replied, hoping that would end the questioning. "For that long?" he asks again. "My period started, good luck eating now" I rolled my eyes at him. "Oh- sorry" he says. "It's okay, Nikki came to the rescue" I say and smile at Nikki, she smiles and nods. "Hey, I had a question" I tug Chris' sleeve a bit to get his attention. "Hm? Everything okay?" He looks at me. "Yep, would it be possible to go back to the hotel so I could get some spare pants just in case anything happens?" I ask while fidgeting with my rings. "Of course, love. Do you wanna go right now?" he smiles. "I can go by myself if you don't want to come, I'll be fine" I blurt out. "No it's okay, we can go. Hey, we're gonna meet y'all at PAX later, we're gonna go and look around" Chris tells the others and I say bye to them.

We got a taxi back to the hotel. Puffer laces his fingers with mine as we walk up to our room. I get lost in my thoughts and I sigh loud enough to catch my lover's attention. "What's on your mind y/n?" he asks and kisses the back of my hand. "I need to talk to you about something, but can we please get to the room first?" I look up at the tall man. "Yeah, of course" he says right as the doors open. We make it to our room and I flop backwards onto the bed. I stare at the ceiling for a second before seeing a beautiful face infront of me. He crawls on top of me and leans in to kiss me. I close my eyes and try to chase his lips but can't seem to find them. I reopen my eyes to him away from my face with a grin plastered onto his face. "Oh I'm sorry, did you want something?" he asks. "Yeah, I want a kiss now" I look at him. "Well, too bad" he starts to get off of me.

I grab his face and pull him in for a kiss, wrapping my arms around his neck to keep him close to me. As I felt his lips on mine, I knew there was no possible way I would ever get tired of them. Every time he kisses me, my heart feels full. I feel safe and content, I could kiss him forever. We pull away for a second, I already hear myself breathing heavily. He takes my wrists and pinning them over my head, he moved his lips to my neck. Placing passionate kisses down to the collar of my shirt. Each kiss left a lingering effect. Making his way up my neck, when he reached my lips he instantly inserted his tongue into my mouth. As our tongues moved sloppily, his hand teased my inner thigh. "Chris" I whispered into his mouth, I felt him smirk into the kiss. His hand moved up to my hips, "You're so fucking hot" he growls into my ear.
