Beyond Worlds: Trapped in a Game

Karma used to be a thief. She stole, robbed, and lied. She basically did all the bad stuff. That was her life. But then she met Zero. He was totally her type, kind, sweet, calm, and charming. She fell for him hard.

Recently, she became his girlfriend, which was awesome. Anyway, she was sleeping peacefully at Zero's place. Two hours later, she woke up and called out for Zero, but got no response. Then she saw a note on the table.

It said: "Hey Karma! This is Zero. I went out to get some food. I'll be back soon, bye!" - Zero. The note looked old, and she started to worry. Suddenly, a portal appeared above her. She heard it, looked up, and there it was.

She was shocked. A doorway right above her. Curiosity got the best of her, and she jumped into the portal. As she flew through it, she saw memories of her past—when she killed her parents, ran away, lived in a tent, and turned into a thief. She saw it all. Soon, she landed in the same grassy field where Zero had been. She saw Zero staring into the sky, deep in thought. She walked up to him, both of them surprised to see each other.

Karma: "Oh my god! Zero! You're here too?"

Zero: "Yeah, let me guess, you came through a portal too?"

Karma: "Yeah... This is weird."

Zero: "Well, long story short, we're in an RPG game. I'm level 2 now. Go ahead and fight those mustard monsters to level up."

Karma: "Shouldn't be too hard."

Karma then beat the mustard monsters, leveled up, and claimed her rewards. She stood next to Zero, talking about their new, crazy situation.
