The group fell through the hole. As they were falling, Zero screamed because he's terrified of heights. Karma, on the other hand, was cheering like it was a rollercoaster. Victor and Xavier didn't seem to care much. They finally landed in a dark place. They were confused until they saw a blue eye flash in the distance.

Not knowing what to expect, the outer edge of the place suddenly lit up with flames, revealing everything. They saw who was responsible for haunting the territory above. It was just... a normal 18-year-old girl?

Zero: "Is this what everyone's scared of? It's just a regular teenager."

Victor: "Heh, yeah! This will be easy... just punch her and we're done. Simple."

Victor walked up to the girl, who was wearing a blue hoodie, a t-shirt, shorts, and boots. He went in for a punch, but she dashed in front of him and then somehow ended up behind him. He was confused, then saw his HP drop from 5000 to 3200. He was shocked, and the girl smirked.

Zero: "Oh crap..."

Victor: "What the hell?!"

Xavier: "She's pretty fast..."

Karma checked the girl's level. She was Level 18.

Karma: "Only Level 18?"

Zero: "...We're seriously under-leveled for this."

The group was scared. They were only Level 10, eight levels below the boss, but they had to fight her.

Xavier: "Okay, I'll go in first. I'm the survivor, so I take less damage. Victor, you be our ranged shooter. Zero, you go for head-on attacks. Karma, you assist Zero with healing and fighting if needed."

The group nodded at Xavier's plan, and Xavier ran in first. He took out his dagger and used his signature Dagger Slash attack, dealing 500 damage (the boss now has 9000 health). Zero then jumped in to help. The boss was skilled, though, and overpowered both of them, sending them flying back. Victor charged his bow and shot a triple arrow at the boss, hitting with only two arrows and doing 300 damage (boss health: 8700).

The boss stood tall and finally spoke up.

???: "Wow! You guys aren't that strong... You know, I may be only level 18, but you guys suck at this."

Xavier: "Oh shut up, you stupid blueberry!"

Xavier rushed in without thinking. Zero tried to stop him but failed. Xavier landed a quad Dagger Slash on the boss, with one hit being a critical, doing 1300 damage (boss health: 7400). The boss stepped back, taking the hit.

???: "Wow... nice hit. My name's Rene. What's yours?"

Xavier and the group were surprised she told them her name, but they didn't let it distract them.

Xavier: "Xavier."

Zero: "I'm Zero."

Karma: "Karma."

Victor: "Victor."

Rene: "Ah... all nice names. They'll look good on tombstones."

The group was taken aback by her comment and all ran in to attack Rene at once. Even though she was Level 18, she couldn't handle being attacked by four Level 10s. They managed to defeat Rene. Everyone was thrilled. As they celebrated, they were transported to a dark abyss and saw a message: "You have beaten the first boss of the game! You may return to this boss any time for a rematch! Congratulations!"

They cheered, knowing they saved the day. They leveled up, with Victor gaining the most XP since he took the most damage. Zero checked his status and saw everyone's current level:

Victor: Level 17 Karma: Level 15 Zero: Level 16 Xavier: Level 16

Suddenly, they were teleported back to King Evan.

Evan: "Oh, thank you, warriors! You've saved this place from certain doom! As promised, here is your payment. Spend the gold wisely!"

The group smiled happily as they left the castle and headed to the international shop, "The Woreazan." Inside, they found awesome weapons, healing potions, armor, and other cool stuff.

Zero upgraded his Starter Sword to a Legend Sword, which does more damage and is easier to handle but has a lower critical chance.

Karma upgraded her healing ability to Healer+, increasing how much HP she heals and lowering the cooldown, but with a slightly smaller healing range.

Xavier upgraded his dagger to an Obsidian Dagger, which is more durable and sharper but a bit heavier, increasing critical chance and damage.

Victor upgraded his Starter Bow to a Recurve Bow, which is more durable, has a higher charge attack, and is easier to carry, but lowers his critical chance.

With their new upgrades, they left the Nebula Territory to continue their journey. As they walked, Zero remembered something.

Zero: "Guys, we totally forgot to ask how to get out of this game."

Xavier: "Well, maybe it works like in the movies... if we beat the final boss, we can leave!"

Victor: "What do you think this is? Jumanji? I don't think it works that way."

Karma: "Well, you don't know that! Maybe it does work like that."

Zero: "We'll ask around the next time we find a city or 'Territory.'"

The group continued walking through the vast land, slaying any monsters they encountered, making their way to the next territory.
