Allison was way too stunned to meet him again - here of all places - but then she recalled the day before so she composed herself. She couldn't believe she was checking him out earlier. If only she had known.

Here was the guy who saved her that dreadful night, - whom she felt thankful to, whom took notice of her as " intriguing" and then overlooked her existence - in front of her, smiling. Although he looked different, everything else fell in place.

"Maybe He's a two faced. It makes perfect sense, doesn't it? He even have the guts to act like nothing happened after yesterday. Well two can play that game."  She thought.

"Hi Ry." Recalling the nickname Miss May called him, She smiled sarcastically

His eyebrows furrowed, his forehead wrinkled at that and it took a while to stir off his absolute confusion.

"Here you go, your money. It says these coffees cost $3 each on the price list." She slapped some money lightly on the counter and pushed it toward him. "Have an intriguing day." Allison turned swiftly and walked out.

Back at the office, she had dropped her boss's coffee and also had her share. Filled with energy, she sat down once more to work on documents assigned to her. They were to be typed, printed and laid on Miss May's desk for signing.

At first, she was confused about the arrangement but later on, she caught up, eagerly working on the task. She hadn't noticed a figure standing in front of her desk, arms crossed, staring at her, not until she rose to print the finished work.

"Oh God." She staggered backwards from her office chair. Holding up a hand to her chest, she inhaled slowly to recollect her breathing.

"Why would you just stand there silent? It's creepy, don't you think? I almost got a heart attack."

"Well, in my defense I did tap on your desk. You were so oblivious, really engulfed with your work, I had to let you be," he stated out, devoid of sympathy.

"Still you..."

"I need the keys." He disclosed, cutting her off.

Confused, She narrowed her eyes at him. From his brownish ginger hair, his sculptured fine face, the inked dragon tattoo on the side of his neck, which she sworn she didn't see earlier, to his blue denim jeans that complimented his white shirt. His cologne filled her nose, making her stomach somersault. He was obviously different from before yet painfully handsome. As if he wasn't earlier.

"Are you done checking me out, Silver?"

"My eye color."

Embarrassment sprouted scarlet colors on her cheeks, and he smirked knowingly.

His voice contradicts his initials at the coffee shop, then again he has never called me Silver.

"No. I was trying to process what you asked of me," she said in denial.

It was partly true. Partly not.

"I. need. the. keys. to. Liza's. office. My girlfriend." Frustration tugged on his voice. "Are the dots connecting now?" He responded with a skeptical look.

Allison's eyes widened at the realization of the news. She had to blink a couple of times to regain composure. Clearly today is full of surprises. She wondered how she would cope with these kind of things. It seems a regular thing in Coastville.

"Literally? Why didn't you tell me earlier, Bryan?"

It was the latter's turn to raise an eyebrow in surprise.

"Bryan, I don't know why but I think we aren't going to get along. That's fine, I don't mind. But why didn't you tell me you are my boss's boyfriend?"

Although Miss May maybe twice his age, Allison didn't see reason to invade their relationship.

He chuckled, flashing his white sparkly teeth. Realization dawn on him as he stroked his neck, folded his broad but smooth arms and cast a look at the secretary in front of her. Allison tried not to stare for long at his biceps, which itched her to reach out and caress.

"Give me the keys, Silver." His voice came out authoritative.

Sighing, She reached beneath her desk drawer and shuffled a key holder attached to a golden key and extended it to him.

"Here," Allison said with a calm tone. Then he tarried on.

However, heels started clicking on the tiles from afar, snatching people's attention. Allison had to turn around to check who it was. Up ahead was her boss walking majestically, her long black ironed hair dancing at her back from her catwalks, her eyes focused on her direction. Unlike the day before, she wore a red tight strapless dress which stopped inches below her knees, showing off her slender legs. Her cleavage could be seen from where Allison stood. This made the male employees' eyes fill with desire as they ogled while the females admired her enormous beauty. Allison swallowed, still staring at the model like character, somewhat relieved she wasn't the only one Miss May has that effect on. There, workers parted way like red sea, still allured by her glamorous figure, nevertheless paying their due respects.

Everyone was so engrossed in her that no one took notice of the receptionist struggling to keep her balance with the load of items she carried, still on Miss May's tail. Who would possibly cast her a look when Miss May stole the spotlights.

"Is dear Ry in?" She asked once she reached Allison's desk.

"Yes Ma'am," she mustered in an unsteady voice.

Act professional. Be Professional. Damn it. My voice had to betray me, now of all time.

Still hoping her nervousness wouldn't get the best of her, she included, "He came in a while ago."

Miss May slightly nodded.

"One more thing Miss...?"

"Allison." She intervened.

"Yes. Miss Allison. Call me Miss May. I feel a little old with Ma'am." With that austere expression, she left.
