You were taking notes and doodling on ur notebook, you look around and see basil spacing off and acting weird, you thought he was just sleepy and went back to your business
After class
You went to basils table asking if he was okay
"I'm fine just alittle dizzy.."
You place your hand on his neck and he was hot
"Basil you're burning let's go to the clinic "
You held his arm and brought him to the clinic , you greeted the nurse and told her about how basil wasn't feeling well, the nurse lay him down and checked his temperature, basil has a fever and is to be sent home
You went back to class and finished the day, the teacher assigned homework's and you were told to give basils assignment to his house since you pass by his house when going home
You were walking with Kiki and went by basils house, you ring the doorbell, you walk around infront of the door until someone answered
A sweet looking lady with soft brown hair and a white dress
"Hello! "
"Hello! Uhm we're basils friends we just came by to give him his homework, how is he?"
"He's taking a nap, he's still burning up im actually just about to bring him some hot coco!"
"I see.. well tell him we said to get well soon"
"I will.. uhm what's your names?"
"Kiki" "y/n!"
"Y/n huh... hmm.. where did I .. wait! Didn't you take basil to a date? You're that girl right?"
"Oh! Uhm yeah"
"He talks about you! You seem super sweet"
"Thank you!!"
"Hmm.. how about stay for dinner? I'm going to start cooking In a few"
"..is it okay?" You look at Kiki then at her
"It would be a pleasure to! Come in"
You look at Kiki and she nods , you both step in the house and look around
"Thank you for taking care of basil , he's a fragile boy "
"It's no problem he's the sweetest"
"Awee is he?"
"Super" Kiki adds
"Oh! Right Would you bring up this hot coco to basil?"
"Oh sure!"
You took the hot coco from her hand and slowly go up to his room, Kiki knocks on his door and basil answered, Kiki opens the door and basil turned around expecting Polly
"Hey po-.. Kiki! Y/n!"
"Hey basil! Polly Told me to bring you this" you place the hot coco on the table
"Basil I love your room it's so.. floral" Kiki goes around
"Well it is basil"
"Uhm..why are you guys here by the way..not that I don't want you guys here dont think that way hehe"
"Oh! We were just giving your homework and then Polly invited us for dinner"
"S-she did? "
You nod
"I see.."
Minutes of talking goes by, you hear Polly calling you guys to eat, all three of you go down
"I made dinner! Please eat I hope it's not too bad"
You three sat down, basil sits right across you , Kiki sits beside you and Polly sits beside basil
You took a bite out of Polly's food and your face brights up
"This is good!"
Kiki agrees
Polly blushes and smiles "I'm happy you like it"
A few minutes of silence Polly brought up your date with basil
"You know watching basil get ready for it was the cutest he went like "is this good, do I look stupid" and all that so cute"
"Awee basil looked super cute that day"
Basils eye slightly widens as he blushes FURIOUSLY
"You know y/n said a woman thought they were dating"
"Omg Yeahh it caught me off guard but it was funny, right basil~ "
"You both look cute together " Polly smiles
basil now needs to look down to hide his blush
"Do we? heheh I mean.." you look at basil trying to cover his blush but you can still see it anyway, you smirked at his cuteness
Basil stood up still covering his face
"Uhm excuse me I-I'll be back" he run-walked to the bathroom
Basil was too nervous and flustered if he stayed on that table Polly would've pointed it out(basil being flustered)
Basil cools down for a while and comes back and sit back down
After dinner, you and Kiki both say goodbye and left the house
Basil quickly looks at Polly
"Why did you mention the dattteeeee"
"Awe is my basil flustered?"
"No!"
Polly chuckles as basil runs up to his room "He's really grown up" Polly says to herself
