You quietly ran to basil who is busy looking through his locker, you wait for him to shut the locker door so you can talk to him
He finally shut his locker door and looked at you
"Yes?"
"Ok so basil you've heard of prom right " He nods
"Do you have a date yet"
"Uhm no"
"Would you like to be my date? It's okay to say no like-"
"Sure" basil smiled as he pats ur cheeks (not the ass the FACE. ) while he walks away , now that's just new
It happened so fast you don't know how to react so you just walked away like he did as if you didn't ask someone out to prom n they said yes
You immediately ran to Kiki and gave her this "news" "NO WAY REALLY ?" you nod while smiling, she slapped your arm while jumping "WHYD YOU HIT ME" "IM EXCITED FOR YOU" "O OKAY???" until a teacher saw and glared at the both of you.
You greeted the teacher and awkwardly walked away while dragging Kiki

"Mom should I just wear my suit?"
"You didn't like the dresses I gave you?"
"Nope."
"Alright then, you'll look great anyway" she came to you and messed up your hair
-another time skip- -day of prom

You used your mom/dad's car and pulled up to basils house (now where the bell u learned how to drive, u didn't learn u just know now cus 17 year olds apparently knows how to drive)
You knocked on his door and Polly answered
"Oh y/n basil is here!"
basil walked infront of the door and hugged you
You pulled out a flower and was about to put it in his front pocket (on the chest ykyk)
"Oh you already have a flower"
"It's okay I can have two" he giggled and grabbed the flower to put in his pocket
"You look pretty by the way" basil commented
"You too basil! " you smiled "let's go?"
"Wait wait let me take a picture of you guys" Polly pulled out a camera, you wrapped your arm around basil and posed with him
"Alright Wonderful, have fun! " Polly waved goodbye
-time skip again lolz
you stood beside the snack era with basil
"This is terrifying "
"Yes."
"Should we dance atleast?"
"Uhm.."
"Come on" you grabbed his hand into the dance crowd and put your arms on his shoulders and his hands on your waist and started to move with the music (you were guiding him cus he's pretty awkward lol)
"Uhm.. you're really pretty tonight" you said to basil to break the silence , tho u weren't lying or anything like that
basil blushed "t-thanks..you too.."
You smiled and continued dancing to the melody of the song

-after the whole thing
you offered once again to bring basil home and he accepted it, the car ride was nothing like you expected, you thought it would be quiet and awkward but instead there was music in the car and you both were talking about life and different topics, 30 minutes in the car passed by and you finally pulled up to his house, you two chatted a bit until basil saw Polly peeking through the window, probably a sign he should be going
"Oh well.. gotta go.. thanks for the rides y/n"
"Oh it's nothing! Driving is fun"
Basil smiled at you and leaned in "Goodnight" he whispered to your ear and then kissed your cheek
You were absolutely speechless, who knew basil could make moves now, he opened the car door and waved at you once again before running to Polly who's already at the door
-basil pov "Hey hey I saw what you did"
"Even I'm surprised.."
"Hey atleast you're not shy little basil anymore right? Hehe"
