Nate's POV

"Please baby! Don't do this!" The red-headed chick begged.

"One night was what we agreed on Emma," I sighed, pulling on my pants. Her eyes flashed in anger.

"My names Ellie," she snapped.

"Oh," I paused, thinking back to the night before, "I could've sworn you were an Emma."

"Just get out," venom in her voice. 'Damn' I thought. This one was going to get angry, I much preferred it when they just got sad rather than sad, pissed and hell-bent on revenge, it meant that my genitals would survive ever meeting them again.

"I'm doing my best babe, trust me." I muttered, tying my shoelaces whilst looking around for my jacket.

"You could at least try to be decent you know. And stop calling me babe." She snapped

"Ain't what I promised babe," I shrugged. I knew I was being an ass, but I never led any girls on, I was always completely honest with them and it annoyed me when they thought that the sex had meant something more.

I spotted my jacket lying in the corner, grabbed it and left, giving her a half wave over my shoulder, Emma cried out in frustration.

It was 7-ish and the sun was up, along with the moon. I'd always hated the moon, it makes you feel so small and insignificant, like nothing you ever did would matter. Same with the stars.

I pulled into the driveway, switching of my car.

Our house was in what would be considered the 'suburbs' of Settle, if Settle was big enough to have suburbs. It was large, and expensive, standing out from the other houses in town, with walls unnecessarily painted the same colour as the brick underneath it and a driveway big enough for more cars than we owned, it had a porch to shade the door and stone 'balconies' on the windows which looked more like bars on a cell.

I entered the house quietly and went upstairs to wake my sister up for school, only to see her bedroom light was already on.

"BOO!" A little girl with wavy black hair and round blue eyes yelled as she jumped out from behind her bedroom door. I blinked at her, completely unfazed.

"Oh come on! How don't I ever surprise you?" Kia whined, turning round and walking back into her room.

"You might've, had you remembered to turn your light off," I said, sticking my tongue out at her.

"Oh yeah, duh!" She exclaimed whilst looking in her wardrobe for something to wear.

"If you want a lift I suggest you hurry up," I told her, walking out as she tossed some t-shirts and dresses over her shoulder in disgust.

"Yeah, yeah," she dismissed, I grabbed a towel from the cupboard at the end of the hall and darted into the nearest bathroom before my sister could. After a long shower to rid myself of the smell of sex and Emma/Ellie, I hopped out, throwing on some jeans and a gray t-shirt.

"Are you two awake?" Our housekeeper, Mary, called from downstairs

"Yeah," I called back, walking past Kia's room where she was belting out Taylor Swifts lastest song about how someone had ditched her for being clingy and mental, "hurry up K!" I yelled, banging on her door.

"Coming," she shouted back.

Going down stairs I grabbed a piece of cold pizza from the fridge and packed my bag for school.

"Excited for Senior year?" Mary asked, smiling as she cleaned yesterday's dishes.

"It's just school M, there ain't much to be excited about." She just smiled back disbelievingly. I went back upstairs to grab a jacket and brush my teeth, calling my sister again.
