5 months before the series took place
After a long day, Flicker and Milo were going to go back to mission station. "Sooooo? How was the first time in the city today?" Milo asked. "Amazing! I wish we could do this more," Flicker answered.
Flicker then suddenly stopped at an alleyway looking at a pile of newspapers in the middle of the streets. "That's a lot of trash," Flicker said as he was about to pick it up. "Hold on a second," Milo said. "I saw it move."
"Move?"
"Yeah, I think it might be a raccoon."
Wind then blew the newspapers away revealing a little puppy covering his head. "OMG! A PUPPY!" Flicker cried out. "Can I keep him please?"
Milo looked at the little puppy, it looked very thin and had dirty fur. "Flicker, I think it's better that we bring it to the animal she- what are you doing?" Milo asked while seeing Flicker making a ball out off newspaper.
"Playing with him," Flicker said tossing the paper ball to the pup. The little puppy liked the company of the red train. Milo sighed, "Ok but let's ask Max."
As dusk begins to fall the two trains left.
