“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.” These words, spoken by the French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, simply mean that we may learn, grow and evolve spiritually by experiencing life as humans.
ALCHEMY IS ONE of the oldest forms of science known to mankind. Its foundation is based on our spirituality, philosophy and magic. As time progressed and humans evolved, alchemy became more than just transforming metals, it became otherworldly and an integral part of the lives of the many alchemists who were able to experience life and become a part of history. Alchemy is not as simple as one may think, it is true that reading books and listening to mentors is an important part of it all, however ones’ growth is much more significant, not only for the mastery of alchemy, but for themselves as a human being. Experiencing and experimenting, this is what alchemy is at its absolute core. Someone may dedicate their energy and time into studying, reading and listening, however it does not compare to the human experience, for how could they ever wish to become an alchemist if they are not willing to simply live?
