Hi!

A lot of you have read this story, and the one before it, so I know that maybe an update from me isn't at the forefront of your mind (or maybe it is, and this has been your favorite story series of all time and you've been anticipating this moment for forever).

Regardless, here is your update, as unfortunate as it is:

I am officially discontinuing this series.

Honestly, it's something I should have done years ago, however time passes by and the years go on and on. You have grown, I have grown, and I've finally reached the point of maturity for myself to where I can address and hold accountability for my actions, however small or large. This is included.

My love for Harry Potter has definitely faded significantly, and I'm no longer the writer that I used to be. Even if I did want to continue, I wouldn't even know where or how to start, and the story isn't how I would have written it today.

However, being able to look back upon the things that I have written and see how much I've reflected and grown since then is really important to me. This means that everything I have written will stay up as I have no intentions of deleting anything.

Currently, being an artist has taken the forefront of who I am, and writing is one of my many (many) hobbies that I haven't had much interest in getting further into lately. Every once in a while, though, something sparks and I write a drab or two in my notes app. Maybe I will begin to post those drabs here, too.

I hope to still keep this app close, especially with it being such a formative experience for me in my earlier years and even in the present. At the moment, the only reason I ever really come here is to read a beloved fanfic that I can only ever read here. But I'd like to be able to form and grow something new out of the ghost-town of this old account somehow, and hopefully I will gain the community to help water the seeds and sprouts.

Thank you all so much (whoever is left to read this, however you got here) for following along and getting me to points I never knew I could reach, and staying with me for points I strive for.

And with that, I leave to you the end of an era.
