Past Robin's shoulder, through the window, I saw the last thing I wanted to see.
A black van.
"Hey!" Robin yelled
I snapped out of my thoughts and looked down, I let go.
I scrambled to pick him back up, "Sorry! I just got startled."
He arched his eyebrow, "By what?"
Should I tell him?
"Nothing. Sorry for dropping you." I apologized
"It's okay. Now can you teach me how to do this?" He asked, gripping my arms tighter
I nodded and skated backwards, not letting go of him.
We heard Finn gag behind us and he stopped next to us.
"Now, this is just embarrassing for you Robin." Finn teased.
"You know what-" Robin tried to take a stance, instead he just stumbled for a bit and ended up on his ass.
Finn and I busted out into laughter.
Robin was on the ground looking absolutely livid.
"Stop laughing and help me!" He said.
We helped him up, again.
"Okay, Finn, help Robin. I'm gonna go to the bathroom." I announced and skated towards the exit of the ice.
I walked towards the bathroom, and I saw it again.
The same black van outside, just waiting.
Maybe I should tell them.
I finished up in the bathroom and began washing my hands.
I looked up in the reflection of the mirror and immediately turned around.
I saw the Grabber in the mirror.
However, when I turned around, he was no where to be seen.
Am I going crazy?
I quickly dried my hands and walked out the bathroom as fast as I could.
When the ice rink was finally in view again, Robin and Finn were no where to be found.
Not again.
I walked closer to the rink, hoping they were still here.
Then I felt hands on my shoulders.
I shrieked and fell to the ground in fear.
But I heard.. laughter?
"We got her good!" Finn said
Robin was laughing along with him, "We really did!"
I just sat there, extremely agitated.
After a minute of laughing, they helped me up.
Robin hugged me from my side, "Lighten up a bit, that was funny!"
I gave him a soft smile. It would be pretty funny if I hadn't just seen what I saw.
Finn must of noticed my discomfort, "Wait. You aren't actually upset are you?"
I shook my head, "No. No, that was funny. I'm just a bit shaken up."
"What happened?" Finn asked
I sighed, "I saw him in the bathroom."
Finn's eyes widened, Robin on the other hand just sighed.
"I thought we talked about this." Robin said
"I know! But when I saw the van outside as well I just-"
Robin cut me off, "You need to stop! It's over! You saw Finn kill him and you're still stuck in this fantasy!"
Finn smacked his shoulder, "Dude. What if she's right?"
Robin scoffed, "You saw him die Finn."
"You don't believe me? Come outside with me, I'll show you." I exclaimed
We took our skates off and returned them before walking outside.
"See for yourself the van is right here." I said
"Right where?" Robin asked
I looked at him, "It's right there! Don't you see it?"
His expression softened, "Listen. We can talk about it if you want."
"You seriously don't see it?" I whispered
Robin shook his head but Finn looked equally as terrified as I did.
"I don't. And I think it's time we go home." Robin replied, clearly frustrated.
I sighed and gave up, letting Robin take my hand in his and start walking.
Finn tapped my shoulder from beside us and I turned to look at him.
"I saw it too." He whispered.
Maybe only we see it.
