it's been about a month
since mei's been to the
ivory café.

ever since that day,
she couldn't stop
thinking about the cute
waitress, jie.

she decided she'd go
back, she wanted a coffee
anyways.

throwing on warm
clothing to keep her body
from the cold.

she put on a mask,
got her keys, and made
her way to the café.

"hey jie! you know
that customer you
got a major crush on?
she just walked in!"
chen yelled

jie who was on her
break, suddenly cut it
short.

"mei? mei!"
mei turned around to
see her two friends
sitting at a table

"genji! Yingpei! hi!"
mei smiled sweetly, taking
a seat with the two.

she's been friends with
yingpei and genji since
their early elementary
days, they basically
grew up together.

"what are you guys
doing here?"
mei asked, showing
off her dimples.

"we were supposed
to be on a double date,
but the other couple
had plans. what
about you?"
genji asked, holding
yingpei's hand, him
doing the same.

"i came to get a
coffee, and last time
i was here i met
a really cute
waitress, so i
had to come back"
mei smiled, her cheeks
lighting up a bit.

she didn't have a crush,
just.. an intrest..

"mei isn't it? i served
you last time you
came. would you
like the same order?"
jie asked.

jie was standing
behind mei
long enough to
hear what she said.

jie smirked at mei's
caught off guard reaction.
genji and yingpei just
tried not to laugh

"e-eh? yes, thank you.."
mei got embarrassed,
who knows how long jie
has been standing there

jie took the other two's
orders as well.

jie made her way to
the back to get their orders
prepared.

"do you think she
heard what i said?"
mei asked the others
while hiding her
embarrassed face
into her palms
