Who made you cry?

Seungcheol's phone buzzed while he was at the academy. He fishes it out from his pocket. His brows drew together when he sees the screen. It was Joshua's father. Why's uncle calling me? He thinks, then picks up, "Hello, uncle?"

"Son, what happened with Joshua?" his father says from another line. He seemed pretty worried.

"Huh?" Seungcheol gets confused, "What are you talking about?"

"He was crying when he came home and went to his room without saying anything," he says

"What? He was . . . He was crying?"

"Did anyone say something to him at the academy?"

"I don't know, I didn't see him since morning,"

"He called me after his match saying he is going to your place. And when he came home he was crying. What happened at your house?"

"But there's no one at my house, uncle! I'm outside. Didn't he tell you?"

"He doesn't want to talk to us, Cheol, just crying in his room. He never acted like this before," his father says in an anxious voice, "Can you come here, son? And try to get to talk to him? The whole house is getting ruined,"

"O-Okay, uncle, I'm coming right now. Wait for me there," he hangs up, hurriedly rushes out of the building, and moves the wheels toward Joshua's house.

In a while, he reaches there. Joshua's mom and dad were standing outside the door. He runs to them, "What happened to him?" he asks.

"We don't know," Joshua's mother answers concerned, "He came home and he was crying. He's not even talking to me,"

Seungcheol was brooding over what could've happened because Joshua always tells him everything. And why did he go to my place?

"Cheol, please help my son, you're the only one I can trust," his mother says, "I don't even know what made him this sad,"

"Don't worry auntie, I'll talk to him," he says  and opens the door.

"Be careful, son," his father warns him.

Seungcheol enters inside and wanders his eyes all over the house. A blow of negative energy washes over him, making him mentally tired. The place was looking like a strong typhoon destroyed everything. There was completely dark inside, the light bulbs were shattered into glasses on the floor, and all the stuff was not in their places.

He needed to go upstairs to Joshua's room. He switches on his phone's torch and walks ahead.

Just a few seconds after, he hears some footsteps quietly following him. He turns behind instantly, to find just air, then again starts moving. As soon as he climbs the stairs, someone touches his back. "Who's there?" he says swinging his torch everywhere in the house. Nothingness.

Because Seungcheol knows the cause of these happenings, he doesn't get scared in his house. There's no one. There's no one here. It's all my illusion. I have faith in God. No one can harm me. He makes his mindset strong, goes upstairs with confident steps, and knocks on Joshua's door. He could hear his whimpers over the closed door.

"Joshua, it's me. Hyung," he says, "Open the door, please,"

He gets no response from him.

"Joshua, I know you're there,"

"Hyung, I don't wanna talk," Joshua's soft voice comes from the other side.

"Jo-" he stops, the fine hairs on his arms rise up in goosebumps, when he felt someone breathing in his ear. Then a cold whisper of his name. He gulps but doesn't move from his place. After all these years, he knows how to cop with these.

Never turn around to check behind you, you'll see nothing, but once you start doing it you won't be able to stop.

If you hear someone calling for you. Don't answer. Never answer.

He ignores everything and again knocks on the door with his fist, "Joshua, please open the door," he cooes, "Don't you wanna tell your hyung what happened?"

The wooden floor of the corridor creaks right beside him, tempting him to see, but he still doesn't move his eyes. "Joshua, why did you go to my house?" he speaks again, "What happened there?"

After a moment of silence, Joshua opens the door. Seungcheol quickly enters inside and locks it behind him. He closes his eyes and takes a breath of relief. This room was the only normal one from the rest of the house.

He looks at Joshua, his face was wet, eyes red and puffy. Seungcheol gets concerned "Hey, bunny . . ." he goes near him and touches his face, "Why were you crying?"

"H-Hyung-" Joshua chokes on his voice and burst into sobs again, "Hyung, I-"

"It's okay, it's okay, don't cry," He embraces him securely in his arms and rubs his back up and down. Joshua couldn't stop shedding tears. "I'm here now. Don't worry, we will sort it out together,"

After a few minutes, Seungchoel pulls away, picks up the water bottle from the table, and makes Joshua drink some water. It made him stop sobbing and helped him to calm down. Seungcheol wipes his tears and sits with him on his bed.

"Do you wanna tell me now?" he says

Joshua sniffles and looks at him, "I . . . um," he couldn't find the right words.

"C'mon, try for me,"

"Hyung, uh . . ." he looks down at his hands, and says softly, "Promise me, you won't get upset with me,"

"Wha-" Seungcheol huffs, "No, bunny, never. I can never get upset with you no matter what. Now tell me quickly what happened,"

Joshua was still hesitant to explain to him, he was fidgeting with his fingers, eyes roaming everywhere in the room. He was scared to tell him and embarrassed at the same time.

Seungcheol makes him look at him, "You can trust me, Joshua. Who made you cry?"

"Hyung, it's, uh . . ."

"Yes?"

" . . . J-Jeonghan,"

"What?"

Complete silence for a few seconds.

Seungcheol recalls now, he left Jeonghan at his house before going to the academy this noon. He shuts his eyes. That mutherfucker. It was a big mistake leaving him there. He speaks after a short pause, "Wh-What Jeonghan? What did he do? What happened?"

"I . . ." Joshua swallows, "I let him kiss me,"
