Yesenia felt the hug of a slow afternoon as she walked to the counter's desk. She sighed as keys were the first thing her eyes met. They have probably already left-and based on the unkempt books on the side, it was safe to speculate that they were in a rush.

She sighed for the second time. Love. Such a sweet poison.

Placing a strand of her chestnut brown hair behind her ears, Yesenia walked towards the pile of books that Meagan left. One of her knees touched the wooden floor as she grabbed the books carefully to put it in the right places.

The sun's gilded rays peaked through the window glass and it touched the surface of her honeyed cheeks. Stars adorned under her eyes and the blooms' fragrant attached to her garments, she is the word heavenly herself.

The title "angel in disguise" would be a fit for her allure but having such beauty that permeates naturally with extent transparency, the word disguise wouldn't just seem right.

Yesenia is definitely the epitome of gentle and delicate. An angel from above, they say.

Someone entered.

The little voice inside her head susurrated. She's not certain whether it's due to her instinct or her peripheral view. All she knows now is she needs to get herself prepared.

And that. . . is something she still don't know how to begin with.

Yesenia stood and fixed her sundress that is topped with her worn-out beige cardigan. Anxiety hitting every fiber of her being, she gave the costumer the friendliest smile her lips could stretch.

They nodded back and continued to walk around. That was her cue to march towards the counter area.

The costumer remained quiet-as far as from what she observed. To be more descriptive, it was a female. A young woman who seemed to be around her age. And like her, she's pretty. A face that could attract anyone is in her possession.

But that wasn't the only thing that captured the eye of the lass.

It was the way the woman carried herself. Elegant and sophisticated. Even with just one look, she knew she has wealth. The shimmering accessories around her neck, her little purse and the green dress topped with an expensive-looking coat proved it well.

Yesenia kept herself busy. It was an attempt to not draw any attention. She's not doing well, she knows. But it's her cowardice that's arising now. She has no proper defense for that.

However, she felt footsteps coming near. Again, perhaps it was because of her instinct that slowly developed as she grew up with this condition.

Eyes were stern as Yesenia stood. With a collected gaze for a detailed observation, she noticed how the costumer's lips moved. It made her uncomfortable inside. The burning sensation of anxiety travelled to her system as she asked herself. Why did I let myself fall into this position?

Yesenia motioned her hands.

Stunned, the woman's delicate face emitted a confused yet believing expression.

I'm doomed. Whispered Yesenia, having a terrified smile.
