Sorry this is just a little part, but I am typing whenever I have a chance ;)  Thank you all for you support and patience.

Shara led me to down the long hallway to her room.  I followed behind numbly, at a loss for thought or feeling.  She opened the door and I stepped in.  I looked around and gave a small smile at the forest painted walls and ceiling.  Even the carpet looked like grass and all the furniture looked as if it were carved either carved out of wood or stone.  A huge bay window shed lots of light of light into the room and a huge red oak grew right outside the window.  I walked over and sat on the little nook next to the window.  I heard Shara leave.

I jumped when the door was suddenly thrust open and spun around.  Huge arms wrapped around me in a bear tight hug.

“Hey, sis,” my brother said.  “What is wrong?”  He leaned back and looked at me curiously.

I sighed and looked away.  “I cannot say.”

He gave me another tight squeeze then stood up.  “Well you know where to find me if you need me,” he said quietly.  I heard the door shut gently.

The door immediately opened again.  I looked up to see a huffy Shara carrying plates of food in.

“What did he want?” she asked curtly, her hazel eyes hard.

“Only to see how I was,” I muttered.

Shara gave a grunt.  “He has been acting so weird.  Half the time he disappears and is not even around.  Best to a guard up.”

I shrugged.  “I think perhaps the attack has made him grow up.”

Shara sighed.  “We shall see, but first,” she smiled and looked at me, “you need to eat.  Here.”

She put a plate piled with beef and potatoes and covered in gravy in front of me, making me almost drool.  My stomach growled.  “This shall be a sign soon,” I whispered, “if I am, you know.”

“Then you shall have plenty of food,” Shara said cheerfully.

“But,” I started, looking at her.

Shara smiled sympathetically at me, her blonde hair glowing.  “Shush, Nathina,” she told me gently.  “If you are then you have a whole pack to back you up.  A pup is nothing to be worried of when you have such a strong family who loves you.  Now eat.”

I smiled, a little comforted, and started to chow down.  When did food ever taste this great?!?
