Rui and Tsukasa used to be very close, what happened between them?

Sorry for the cliffhanger last chapter!! Anyways let's continue! Rui's POV:
"Nene? Are you okay?
Nene just stood there while breathing heavily and then she was able to speak to him.
"I'm fine.. I guess."
"I know you aren't. Do you want to do something to cheer you up?"
Nene then just shook her head.
"No..I just want to be alone right now..I'll see you tomorrow Rui."
Rui then nodded.
"Okay. Yeah see you tomorrow."
Nene waved at Rui and walked away.
Bunch of thinking then came into Rui's mind as his gaze was to the ground.
'Was blocking Tsukasa really unnecessary..?' 'No! After all he was rude to Nene!' 'Or maybe he was just misunderstood..?' 'He probably meant it.' 'He probably just had a break down and had to let his anger on someone..?'
Rui then just sighed and walked back home.
As he opened the door he went straight to his room.
He then laid on his bed while having the feel of 'guilt' all around his body.
'Maybe a nap would make me feel better.'

'Why did I do that..? I should have learned from when I first yelled at Nene..' 'Why..' 'It's all my fault.' 'Nene probably feels way worse about herself now.' 'Everyone else probably hates me now.' 'I'm the reason for all of this.' 'Aren't I..?'

"Its my fault!! I should've stopped the fight sooner.."
"Guys please please PLEASE come back!!"
'I'll just head home..'
'Maybe icecream would help before I head home..?' 'Yeah! I'm so smart!'
Emu then started to run to the icecream shop and ordered a strawberry icecream with sprinkles, and gummy bears as she paid the icecream she left the shop and she bumped into someone..
