PROLOGUE

They say that once you get out of a draining relationship, you get left with this protective feeling that you never want to experience love again.

And of course....They're right.

Why fall in love when you're just going to end up heartbroken again?

You turn cold and move on, rejecting every possible way that could lead to feelings and it goes well.

Until you eventually bump into someone, someone with the most handsome appearance and wonderful personality. It pulls you to them, too much that it scares you to meet them again.

You try and try to avoid getting attached to them. Yet they somehow sneak their way into your life and give it a little spark.

The longing feeling of comfort and love pulls you to them. This person has everything you want in a partner and that's when you decide to give it a chance.

Until someone destroys the bond.

It's over...
The love and trust that once existed between you two is replaced with betrayal and bitterness.

You avoid them as much as possible but their face, their personality, their way of showing love appears everywhere you go.

It's like their love is haunting you. The universe wants them to haunt you...and it annoys you.

But you know deep down,
that's just what you like...

This work is absolutely pure fiction and its intentions are to provide you with some kind of entertainment. So no, do not idolize or worship any of my characters. They have flaws just like us all but some of them are indeed fucked up. Love them all you want but don't idolize their bad actions. If it's about them having a drinking problem or being narcissistic, I don't know but don't idolize it. (Not trying to make it sound like I'm trying to control you guys!!)

Any form of stealing or as some of you would like to call it, "borrowing" will result in legal actions because it is INDEED illegal to steal others' work. If I see work that looks like mine I will of course come to you privately since I respect all of you and I wouldn't want to embarrass anyone publicly.

This book be published on (year/month/date) 22/09/24 so if you see anything that looks like my work that's published after this date and doesn't mention any credits, then it's definitely copied. I don't mind you getting inspired but please tell me know that you want to use the idea or give CREDIT!! (Very important that authors get credit for their inspirational ideas.) Let me know if you spot any copied work because I put time and effort into my books and I would not like it being stolen.

Also, if you see something in my book that reminds you of someone else's book, please let me know! I do not want to seem disrespectful in any way by copying someone's work.

I will also be putting a Trigger warning as there are scenes where I mention things that can upset people. If you aren't comfortable with seeing alcohol problem, abandonment by parent, adult language (swearing, cussing), upsetting or suicidal thoughts getting mentioned then this might not be the book for you.

1. There will be mature or also called dirty language that can also be followed by few mature scenes but I have a boundary to how sexual I want to write. I am a minor and this is my first real romance book so I am not the most comfortable about writing the heaviest smut scenes.

2. English is not my first language! Please be understanding if you see any spelling or grammar mistakes. You can absolutely correct me but don't go harsh on me please😫.

3. Except for city and county names, any other places I mention in the book are going to be fictional and by the imagination of the author aka me.

4. There will be POV's from both male and female protagonists but I will throw in a few 3rd person POV's here and there.

5. I will put pictures at the very top of the chapters to give you guys the idea of the things. It can be places, outfits etc. This is because I don't have the energy to explain every detail about outfits and places. I'm a very lazy person, I know.

6. Expect some humor and sarcasm in the book because why not? I feel like the book becomes boring without some flavour and jokes.
