It had been about 3 months since I was fired from my previous job. I had changed my phone number so that I could avoid being called by Junhoe and the others. During the past few months, I locked myself up in my room and cried in the dark. I was battling with depression. However, I thought I couldn't go on like that anymore and wanted to be healed thus going for counselling and treatment. I soon changed, with determination helping me get back up on my feet and winning the battle against depression.

It turned for the worst as I changed from my original personality of a cheerful girl to a rebellious one. I ignored my parents, friends and relatives. I talked back to them. It was a whole new personality, like I was reborn again. Even when I wasn't being such a good person towards others like before, it made me feel better than when I was left with nothing after getting fired. I took a job at a newly opened cafe nearby as a barista. I was now what people stereotyped as a typical bitchy girl. But my heart still hurt. It rooted from the pain that I could not see Junhoe anymore and had to avoid him at all cost. I missed him.

Junhoe

Months later and I still couldn't believe she left me. She left me alone, suffering this pain in my heart. The heartache was too much for me. Why did she leave? I was just starting to become successful and then she left me without a word? Did she leave me for another man? She should have at least told me why she had to leave. I thought I would not be that sad over our risky relationship that ended but the pain was unbearable. What about our happy memories? The sad memories we shared, with tears, how about it? Nobody could replace her in my heart or my mind.

When I found out she had left, I kept calling her to no avail as the call couldn't get through. What was she doing now? How was she living? She told me that her wish was for us to be together forever. Was it the truth or was it all a lie? I couldn't trust anyone anymore. If I trust them, they would leave me. Just like Jaekyu did.

A new day soon came. I went to a newly opened cafe near the dorms and ordered a venti-sized cappuccino. The barista was hiding away from me while I was ordering, making me feel very awkward so I left to sit at a table after ordering. I took my coffee after my coffee was ready and left the cafe. Why did the barista look so familiar? Like... Like.... Like Jaekyu.
