I heard that a new girl group had just debuted, called 8YMBOL. Their song titled Ideal Boy was really catchy but somehow it reminded me of our song, My Type. The beats were similar and I was enjoying it. I usually didn't listen to girl groups so it was kind of surprising that I really liked the song.

Their names popped out on the screen at the same time as their close-up shots in the music video. F8, Byeol, Ying, Olive, MIN and KYU. KYU looked an awful lot like Jaekyu. I wasn't sure if I was just hallucinating. I didn't know when or how she became a trainee. When her part came, I listened intently to KYU who sang, in doubt if it was really Jaekyu. It was actually her, my ex-girlfriend that I supposedly unofficially broke up with. I was really hoping our schedules wouldn't overlap as I didn't want any awkward moments after what had happened between us in the past.

I did find out why she left me months later when a staff member leaked it to me by accident. If I wasn't an idol but just a regular colleague, we would still be together. If only it never happened. Now it was even more impossible as she was now an idol too. She achieved her dreams but I just hope it did not relate to any revenge because I made her lose her job by accidentally spilling out the beans, in front of the CEO during a dinner meeting, when we were preparing for debut and Jaekyu wasn't present due to family issues back at Busan at her home.

I missed her so much that I was talking a lot about her all the time in my head. I thought about her a lot recently. I couldn't stop it anymore, to the point that I became a bit weird since she left, until all the members were concerned and worried. It was too harsh that whenever I saw even just her picture, my heart still pounded like crazy because I still had feelings in my heart.
